The Brookwood Bronco Marching Band took top honors on Saturday Night at the Yellow Jacket Marching Classic in Rockmart.

The band received straight superior ratings for drum majors, color guard, percussion and band.

In the Open class, the drum majors received second place, the color guard placed first, percussion first and overall band first.

Finally, in the overall, or sweepstakes category the color guard received the 1st place trophy, percussion received the 1st place trophy. Then the band received the trophy recognizing them as Grand Champion of the 2012 Yellow Jacket Classic!
