City of Snellville Welcomes New City Manager

The City of Snellville, Mayor Kelly D. Kautz and the Snellville City Council are proud to welcome and introduce Mr. James C. (Butch) Sanders as the new City Manager for our community.

Butch, as he prefers to be called, has 25 years of experience as a City Manager and also county manager.

He hails from southern Florida but has spent his professional career and raised his two children in Georgia. He also is a Double Dawg as he earned his Bachelors Degree and also his Masters of Public Administration from the University of Georgia.

Please join us in welcoming Butch and his wife, Jennifer, to the wonderful community that is Snellville, Georgia, Where Everybody is Proud to Be Somebody.

As a member of the Snelville city Council, I was especially encouraged that his nomination was approved by a 6-0 vote. All of the candidates we interviewed were exceptional, but Mr. Sanders was clearly the class of the field. He will be a welcome, addition to the city staff.
