Jaye Lynn Peabody Promises Passion

PRESS RELEASE/Friends of Jaye Lynn Peabody

Georgia House District 94’s seat is up for grabs, and Jaye Lynn Peabody, executive director of a local non-profit agency and licensed counselor, knows she has the passion and vision to fill it. In a race filled with many candidates, this long-time registered Democrat is ready to bring a new direction and new voice to her community and her neighbors.

Peabody has been a devoted member of the Gwinnett and DeKalb communities for over 15 years, and currently serves as the Executive Director of Covenant Counseling & Family Resource Center in Snellville, GA. I have dedicated my personal life and my career to social justice, particularly for our young people,” said Peabody when asked why she’s throwing her hat into the political ring.

As Executive Director of Covenant Counseling & Family Resources Center in Snellville and also as Associate Pastor at Redemptive Life Christian Fellowship, Ms. Peabody has dedicated her life and career to serving her community.  As an proponent for social justice, Ms. Peabody has worked tirelessly in the Stone Mountain and Snellville areas with organization building and community representation.  As a societal bridge builder, Ms. Peabody believes in fighting the injustices of the world and working together to give the voiceless a voice.  As an advocate for health care, families and education, Ms. Peabody has shown time and again that she is not afraid to speak out on the issues that affect each and every one of us.
Jaye Lynn Peabody is my candidate because I know that she will represent House District 94 with an unflinching desire to do what is right, an open ear to listen to those that she represents, and an empathetic heart that is understanding of what we need in a state representative.
