Why: Parkwood Farms Therapy Center and Dr. Marilyn Peterson have issued a plea for support and a call to action to help save the riding center. The Sheriff's department arrived on Wednesday to evict, having never given proper notification. Dr. Peterson has decided to stay in the property and resist the taking of her land and the community has responded with support. 

Friends, Families, Occupy Our Homes Atlanta, the Snellville Mayor & City Council along with other community partners stood with Parkwood Farms on Monday in a rally at 11 a.m. It is hoped that this rally of awareness will convince the bank to make a suitable arrangement that keeps the Therapy Center open to the children it serves.
