Mrs. Steele has been chosen as the Apple of our Eye for the month of December. 

Mrs. Steele is the Lead Teacher in our Early Preschool 2 classroom.  She and her husband, David, have two children:  daughter, Darian and son, Carson.  The Steele’s also have a Bichon Frise named Andre and a big, fat cat named Kaylee. 

Mrs. Steele was born in Newberry, Michigan, which is in the Upper Peninsula. She grew up in Traverse City, Michigan with her mom, brother and sister.  Mrs. Steele graduated from Kingsley High School in Kingsley, Michigan and took some college courses in Tampa, Florida at Hillsborough Community College.  After marriage, Mrs. Steele and her husband lived in North Carolina, where she was a Preschool teacher for 3 years. 

Mrs. Steele and her family have lived in Snellville for just under two years.  They relocated here for her husband’s job from Charlotte, North Carolina, where they resided for ten years.

In her spare time, Mrs. Steele loves to repurpose furniture and do crafts.  She also loves to shop!  One of her favorite things to do is working out, which includes a new love of running!  She completed her first half marathon last February.
