Primrose School of Five Forks Teacher of the Month (October) – Mrs. Taylor
Mrs. Taylor, the Lead Teacher in our Private Pre-Kindergarten 2 classroom, has been chosen as the Apple of our Eye for the month of October.
Mrs. Taylor and her husband, Wally, have two beautiful daughters named Gena and Anna. Gena is thirteen and is in the eighth grade and Anna is eight and is in the third grade. The Taylor’s also have a poodle named Fendi and a lab named Jake. Fendi loves to sleep and Jake loves to get belly rubs! Mrs. Taylor’s husband, Wally, is an FBI Agent in Atlanta.
Mrs. Taylor was born and raised in the small town of Newberry, SC. Mrs. Taylor always wanted to be a teacher. Some of her early childhood memories include playing “teacher” on the back porch of her house. She decided to go to Lander University in Greenwood, SC because of their great education department. She obtained her degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education.
Mrs. Taylor currently has 10 years of teaching experience. All of those years have been with the public schools in both South Carolina and Georgia. The majority of her experience has been in 4th and 5th grades, and working with younger children has given her a well-rounded experience in her career as a teacher.
In her spare time, Mrs. Taylor enjoys going camping with her family. It is a great way for her to spend time with them without the distractions of everyday life. She also enjoys making her own greeting cards and reading.
Congratulations to Mrs. Taylor!
