Texas Roadhouse's 3rd Annual Drive for MS Golf Tournament

Join us for a full day of fun at The Country Club of Gwinnett - October 8th, 2012.  All proceeds benefit the Georgia Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Many of you know and understand what an important event and fundraiser this is for not only the Texas Roadhouse family, but for The Roper family as well.  Sam, my husband, the owner of Texas Roadhouse in Snellville, started this tournament in 2010, in honor of his father, Mike, and sister, Angela, who both have Multiple Sclerosis.

This year, our tournament is in memory of Mike, who passed away last week, due to complications with his MS.

Thanks to the outpouring of support from this community, we have raised over $28,000 for the Georgia Chapter of the NMSS through our first two golf tournaments.  This years goal is $20,000, and we will reach it with your continued support!

Sam has another awesome day planned starting with a continental breakfast during registration, his goofy twists to a 4 man scramble, lunch out on the golf carts, courtesy of Chick Fil A, putting & long drive contests and prizes, you'll be able to bid on items in the silent auction by texting on your smart phone from the golf course (or your living room), and of course, the celebration dinner at the end, catered by Texas Roadhouse!

So if you golf, have friends that golf, or you would like to get involved by sponsoring a hole or a team, I'd love to hear from you!  I've attached the information and registration form.

Sam and I are so lucky to work for a company that lets us be involved in the schools and in the community.  Otherwise, we probably wouldn't have met all of you and developed this wonderfully supportive network of folks!

Thank you for your consideration in making our 3rd Annual Drive for MS, the most memorable one yet!
