Chick-fil-A Fundraiser for Aimee Copeland

The Snellville Chick-fil-A will donate 10 percent of proceeds of sales during a special event Monday, May 28.

The Snellville Chick-fil-A will host a special fundraiser for Aimee Copeland and her family today.

“It’s amazing how the Snellville community has rallied around Aimee and her story,” said Colby Cameron, Chick-fil-A franchise operator “Aimee is such a strong young woman, and we hope everyone will come out in full force to support her and her family.”

Here are the details for the event:

WHAT: The Chick-fil-A restaurant at 2932 Main St. in Snellville, Ga. will hold a fundraiser for Snellville native Aimee Copeland. Ten percent of sales will go toward Copeland’s medical expenses, as she battles a flesh-eating disease.

Copeland, 24, graduated from South Gwinnett High School and is currently a graduate student at the University of West Georgia. To stay updated on her progress, visit http://uwgpsychology.org/2012/aimee-copeland/.

Fundraiser attendees can enjoy live music and door prizes throughout the event. The grand prize winner will receive free Chick-fil-A for six months. That's a value of 26 Chick-fil-A meal coupons.
