Jan. 28 Snellville Council Meeting Live Blog and Recap

The Mayor did not deliver the State of the City address. All the amendments and resolutions to the City Charter were approved.

(Editor's note: if you do not see the blog above, refresh the page.)

A short recap:

  • An amendment was made to the current alcohol ordinance which would allow customers to bring their own wine to art classes, for Sip and Paint types of programs.
  • All four amendments to the City Charter were passed. All amendments limit the scope of the mayor's power and essentially require a majority rule on all decisions.

Imagine if you constantly postponed or ignored things you didn't like in your job. Imagine if Mayor Kautz acted this way in front of a judge when acting as an attorney. She would be kicked out of a court room so fast her head would spin.

Get it together! How much longer before the Judge rules?
