Excellent news! Way to show another Oberholtzer crony the door! The days are looking brighter indeed for Snellville. Congrats, Mrs. Mayor!

Aojdawg, I see the results differently. I will pray for Kelly. I will respect her. But, I feel sad for Barbara, whom I supported and truly felt was the superior candidate. I feel sad also for Snellville, but I'll get over it:) I'm hoping that Kelly will prove me wrong

David, I really wish that others that opposed her could find themselves responding in a similar way.

I prayed for both Barbara and Kelly as well David. Like you, I am a long time supporter and close friend of Barbara's. Clearly she was the better choice. I pray for Kelly as she is young, naive and unsuspecting of the "unknown position" that she has now most certainly placed in. I hope she will find clarity for the clouds and prove us both wrong!

I feel that Kelly is the breath of fresh air that Snellville desperately needs. Sadly, I believe Barbara has become a bit too caught up in the political mess and lost sight of the plans for the city. I've been a long time Bender supporter, but voted for Kelly and will back her all the way!
Here's to a bright new year!!
