Name: Hot N Cold Buffet
Location: 2302 Highway 78

Deficiencies observed: Employee observed touching raw chicken with gloves when placing it into the fryer basket and then touching fryer handles and reach in cooler door handles with the same contaminated hand. The employee then came back and touched these same contaminated surfaces and then touched clean pans and utensils to be served on the buffet. The employee washed hands and put on clean gloves before continuing food prep and the person in charge used sanitizer to clean the contaminated surfaces. A required additional routine will be done within 60 days.

Deficiencies observed: Employees were observed cupping the portioned hashbrowns from the top with bare hands. Suitable barrier between ready-to-eat foods and bare hands not in use. Foods were discarded. Drive-thru windows propped open during customers. 2. Flies are present in the prep area.

Deficiencies observed: Food not shielded properly on counters, serving lines, salad bars, or other food display. Several containers of margarine for self service in the food line were found in unprotected containers.

Deficiencies observed: Single-use gloves used for multiple tasks that present risk for cross-contamination. The employee was observed touching money with gloved hands and using the same gloved hands to touch the ice block used for snow cones.
