Pink Bat-Wielding Woman Smashes Ex-Landlord's Windshield
The man claimed to have evicted the woman and her friend from his home after they didn't pay rent and incidents involving drugs, guns and threats arose.
A Snellville man told police that a woman smashed his car's windshield, broke his phone and cut his hand after he kicked her and a friend out of his house last month.
Police were called to the Wendy's at 3395 Centerville Highway to discuss the situation, which occurred around 11 a.m. on a Tuesday, according to the Gwinnett County Police report.
The man, 20, told the officer that his baby's mother, who works at the fast-food restaurant, called him and said that two women went up to her at the front register and started yelling at her, threating to beat her.
The man arrived at the restaurant and parked next to the suspect's car. One of the women, 22, got out and tapped a small pink bat along his vehicle several times. The other woman may have stayed in her seat, but she kept egging on the suspect, who was her sister, and swearing at her former landlord.
As the man got out of his car, the woman with the bat hit his windshield several times, causing the windshield to almost cave in and bits of glass to fall in the front seat.
With his phone in hand, he told her that he had already called police and that she should stop. She struck his hand with the bat, which caused the phone to break and cut his hand.
The man ran into the store, and the woman drove off.
Police contacted the sister who stayed in the car, and she admited to being at Wendy's but denied knowing about the broken windshield along with any involvement in the violent behavior. She told police that her sister had taken off earlier to an unknown location.
The incident is still under investigation.
