"Miles-4-Smiles" to Benefit Amanda Riley Foundation

The family fun fundraiser will be held Saturday, June 23, to benefit a local charity working to help families battling with childhood cancers.

The Amanda Riley Foundation, a foundation that supports children battling cancer, will host its second annual Miles-4-Smiles Race/Walk and Family Fun Festival on Saturday, June 23, from 9 a.m.– 1 p.m. at Tribble Mill Park in Lawrenceville. 

The event is for everyone from the most elite runner to the occasional walker. Even if you are not a runner or walker, you can come out and enjoy the festivities.  In addition to the 5K and 10K being USATF CERTIFIED races, there will also be a Mile Fun Run, live music by the Good Sam Band, inflatables/moon-walks, food, vendor booths, and a ceremony honoring all children affected by cancer concluding with a balloon release and much more.

Texas Roadhouse will be serving their delicious BBQ sandwiches ,and you can get a full lunch for a nominal fee of only $5.00. There will be craft vendors, artists, home party vendors and much more. So make your plans to come out to beautiful Tribble Mill Park for the race and then enjoy a relaxing morning with the family and help support children battling cancer.

Festivities begin at 9:00 with the one-mile fun run starting at 9:30 a.m. with the 5K and then 10K following soon after. Entry into the festival is FREE!  Cost to run the 5K or 10K is $30.00 in advanced, $40.00 on race day.  The Mile Walk/Run or any children under 12 will be $15.00 in advanced and $25.00 on race day.  Children under 5 FREE, strollers are welcome too. Interested in becoming a vendor at this event, the cost is only $50.00 for a 10x10 space and includes lunch for two. All participants will receive a race bag and T-shirt while supplies last.
