Neil Armstrong - Dead at 82
NBC News reports that Neil Armstrong, the first man to walk on the moon, has died.
According to NBC News, Neil Armstrong died Saturday after having heart surgery a few weeks ago. He just recently celebrated his 82nd birthday.
Armstrong is most famous for commanding the Apollo 11 spacecraft that landed on the moon on July 20, 1969, giving him the opportunity to become the first man to walk on the surface of the moon.
He coined those famous words, "That's one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind."
