Police Seeking Public's Help in Death Investigation of R&B Singer Natina Reed

Investigators are trying to determine exactly what caused the fatal accident Friday night, just north of Lilburn.

Police are seeing the public's help in piecing together the accidental death of an Atlanta R&B singer, according to a media report. The victim, Natina Reed was struck and killed late Friday evening while standing in Lawrenceville Highway, just north of Lilburn, according to police.

Investigators would like to speak “anyone who might have information about anything that could help us determine why she was there, anything to help us understand how this came together, said police spokesman Sgt. Rich Long, as quoted in the AJC.

Police say the driver that hit Reed was not at fault, but they are still trying to discover how the woman came to be in unincorporated Lawrenceville and what led up to the accident.

WSB-TV reports that Reed was a member of the R&B group Blaque and a protegé of TLC's Lisa "Left Eye" Lopes.
