Really? Verizon has yet to open the new store, the old Borders is still empty.
I see for lease, rent, sale signs all over the city everyday.

I don't believe the city can force an opening date of the Verizon Store and I know that the Borders is being renovated for an existing business to move in there. I believe the for rent signs are becoming fewer and that's progress.

Kenny, rumor has it that a 5 guys may soon appear down near the new Academy Sports. Thank you gail, you are correct about the progress. In speaking with elected officials from other municipalities around the county Snellville has made more progress in the last couple of years than they have. Actually, when you take the current economy into account Snellville has done remarkably well. Our vacany rate did not develop over night and its not going to go away overnight either. Progress is being made daily, you just have to open your eyes and want to see it.
