The council will meet today for its first regular meeting of the month

Snellville City Council will meet September 12 for its first regular meeting of the month. The 7:30 p.m. meeting will be preceded by a work session at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will take place at City Hall. You may view the full agenda documents here.

  • Work session discussion items, include: solid waste ordinance, Showmobile mobile stage, financing details for Snellville Senior Center, Snellville University space, LCI staff report, City Hall hours, Evermore CID, alcoholic beverage ordinance and community garden at Briscoe Park.
  • Regular meeting items, include:
    • Ceremonial matters: Recognizing South Gwinnett High principal Clay Hunter, Constitution Week and Childhood Cancer Awareness Month
    • Committee/department reports: Evermore CID
    • Consent agenda: Consideration and action on: Planning Commission agreement regarding sale of Wisteria property
    • New business: Consideration and action on: Purchase of police vehicles
