Patch Picks: Super Bowl Crawl

We've rounded up some places to watch the Super Bowl in our new weekly feature.

Starting today, Patch will run a new weekly feature called Patch Picks on Thursdays. We will highlight editor and reader picks of great local businesses, destinations, services, organizations, ways to spend a day off, and more.

You’ll find useful lists to help you, your family, friends, and significant others find the best places for everything from Sunday brunch to New Year’s Eve celebrations, pumpkin patches, date night destinations, florists, girlfriend nights out, kids party places, parks and more.

Want to suggest a list? Submit your idea in the comment box.

Here's our first list!

Patch Picks: Super Bowl Crawl

●  Flames Sports Bar and Grill

Join dozens of other football fans at Flames this Sunday for the big game. There will be eight wide-screen televisions for your viewing pleasure.

●  Mellow Mushroom

Now, that alcohol can be served on Sunday's, Super Bowl fans need not leave Snellville for place to eat, drink and talk trash this weekend. Mellow Mushroom won't be left out this year!

Snellville Churches

We found several opportunities in Snellville for bit football fellowship. Snellville United Methodist Church, New Jerusalem Baptist Church and Westminster Presbyterian Church are all hosting Super Bowl parties. Contact each of the churches for more information.

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill and Bar

On night's like Super Bowl this restaurant tends to get full, so get there early. You do not want to be sitting by the restroom or next to the kitchen. Your bound to be distracted by swinging doors if you are.

Home Sofa

Hmm, not sure this one really counts. But, it is a recession for a lot of people, and if you already have a huge television at your house, why leave? You can watch the Super Bowl from the comfort of your sofa, with your family and friends. Order food from a nearby wings spot, pour your favorite drinks, and you're set.

Good concept Joy. The local businesses and organizations will appreciate this. - Bob
