Two Local Students Killed in Accident
A third person is in critical condition after the two-car accident, which happened in Lawrenceville Saturday night.
Two Grayson High School students were killed in a two-car accident in Gwinnett County last night and a third is in a critical condition in the hospital.
According to CBS News, a pickup truck and Toyota Corolla collided on Webb Gin House Road at about 10 p.m. near the Springs Arbor Crossing in Lawrenceville.
Gwinnett County authorities reportedly said there were five victims, including the two fatalities.
According to Jeffery Richter, alternate public information officer for Gwinnett County Police Department, it was a head on collision that occurred late Saturday night at the intersection of Webb Ginn House Road and Grayson Highway. Richter said the names are not available for release at this time.
"Two fatalities and five patients that required medical attention is the information that I was given," Richter said.
The accident is under investigation.
