My take on it is that Biden will be doing quite a bit of verbal attacking and one liners on Romney/Ryan which I believe Ryan will effectively disarm.

Also in the past Biden has been guilty of using long-winded rhetoric during speeches so I hope the moderator keeps an eye on the times.

I don't expect any gaffes coming from Biden during the debate and I think it may end up either in a tie or a very small advantage to Ryan.

If you really are a granny then you have lived long enough not to let the slings and arrows of emotional reactionaries bother you much. I have little use for Obama but it's because he has let his white half rule his actions in the White House which is funny if you think about it because most of the hatred directed toward him is due to the fact that he is considered a Black Man. At any rate this election as usual is about the lesser of two evils and Barack can't hold a candle to his opponent in that sphere. People seem to have forgotten that the man who stole two elections put our Nation where it is. He had 8 years to damage and shred the Constitution and Obama hasn't had half that time to try to correct it with his efforts being blocked every step of the way by a Congress and Senate that belongs to the 1%.

If a liar is a liar, what about the month of lies to cover up the failure of this Administration to protect out diplomats in Libya? Ambassador Rice lied, David Axelrod lied, Secretary Clinton lied, and the President of the United States lied.....for weeks, even though they knew the truth about the attacks within 24 hours. When Nixon lied about a break-in in Watergate, he was shoved out of office. Obama worked on the Harvard Law Review with Raddatz’s ex-husband, Julius Genachowski. Genachowski was later appointed by Obama as chair of the Federal Communications Commission and invited Obama to his 1991 wedding to Raddatz - details that raise questions about a potential conflict of interest??

Does this report raise legitimate concerns about Raddatz? Or is the connection too far removed to be a conflict of interest?

Oh Dear Precious Prissy Mae, Are you suggesting asking for specific details about what Romney/Ryan plan to do should they acquire the White House is just a silly piece of information to seek or just that they don't have anything more than vague thoughts about what they think a bunch of other like minded folk want to hear them say they are going to do?

I find it absolutely hilarious so many keep pointing fingers at the past four years without any real understanding of all the years that happened prior to them that got us here. But of course, understanding Obama/Biden didn't put us in this situation all on their own but with a great deal of Bi-Partisan help doesn't fit into the all Democrats are sinister evil plotters from Hell that so many here want to see them as.

What I remember from the last election was the clamoring for more details, more details, more details on the fuzzy rhetoric of "Hope and Change". We didn't get any. Now we find ourselves in the same situation today with Romney/Ryan offering similar fuzzy promises -- including lots of flip flopping on answers solely dependent on who they are talking to -- without concrete information on HOW they are going to implement them.

I don't find either side impressive.

Romney/Ryan explain it with trickle down economics. If we give the rich so much money, eventually some of it will get to the middle class. I have always been under the belief that it is people with money who buy things that cause jobs to be created. When the middle cash had money to spend the economy always prospered.

Republicans want us to believe that by giving tax breaks to the rich and large small businesses they will feel so flush that they will just go ahead and create jobs even if the demand for their products and services is not there. It's a case of which comes first the chicken or the egg. The middle class is the chicken and if you don't feed them they will not lay the golden eggs the economy needs. But then again I am a member of the middle class and what do we know.

It's called TOUGH LOVE, we practice it on our children just as God practices it on all his children. But the "Christian" right doesn't know God, not remotely. the Christian left understands Jesus' message. hypochristians and anti-christ-ians do not. "It was obvious that she was supporting Biden but Ryan did a good job in handling her and Biden,"

I don't think she was personally supporting Biden.

Biden really put her off when she had asked about the concern troops being left behind in Afghanistan were having---which, after stumbling badly, finally had Biden scolding her. She bore it looking down but did not like it.

Every time that she did interrupt Biden, I thought it would be to tell him to abide by the rules. She did not and instead changed the subject which is what she
said she would be doing when introducing the debate.

As it turned out: At every instance, at the expense of Ryan.

It a appears to me that the very venue of the debate, on ABC, was tailored to comply with demands already made by Obama and his campaign manager.

For example: in lieu of instructing Biden to abide by the rules, the moderator instead changing the subject (which Raddatz said she would be doing during her introduction of the debate) and the use of the split screen to highlight Biden and actually facilitate Biden's intrusions on Ryan;

Biden even had the gall to warn twice that he wanted as much time as Ryan had (been only alloted)---even "four minutes"---despite his having used at least three-quarters of Ryan's time, with his unmoderated intrusions, I thought Raddatz would object.

He was in effect demanding all the time.

I think Raddatz had already been constrained.

ABC is patently afraid of Obama. He's a bully.

ABC had even granted an interview to Obama, in place of the evening news, the evening prior to mend his lousy performance in his own debate and pave the way for Biden's upcoming appearance; but where he drilled the anchor's eyeball that he to warn that he was not going to respond to any further questions regarding the Libyan debacle, and all the murderous protests to follow, any more than he had as flagrantly inadequate---and even insulting---it was.

Is there any doubt a Romney administration would favor the rich and increase the income gap in our country? Mitt is a pariah in Mormon Clothing and will stop at nothing to expand an empire of greed for the rich in this country by expanding tax cuts for the 1% of the wealthiest Americans. He’s out to gut the Middle Class for every red cent he can get. Will his sacred Mormon underwear grant him the protection and money to buy this election? because their intentions are all wrong and downright unchristian and evil, period.
they want to use everybody for their own selfish purposes, and if they could tax our every breath they'd do that to, but pay no taxes themselves, and then steal the tax revenues we paid in. THAT'S THE FACTS, it's their ultimate agenda. If you don't believe it, ask yourself why it's the rightists who always steal our tax dollars to put into the pockets of their supporters. BECAUSE THEY THINK THE WORLD IS THEIR CASINO, their plantation, and theirs to exploit. They don't understand that Jesus said It's more BLESS-ED to give than to receive, because when you GIVE, you are receiving. TO WHOM MUCH IS GIVEN (AND IT'S ALL GIVEN, by the Lord and by the working class), MUCH IS REQUIRED. Did he forget the call would have taken five minutes without him?

I have really listened to both candidates and their views, and can anyone explain why through all that was said - How could you expect a president to fix all of the damage on all subjects mentioned in 4 years, when it took 8 years for the republicans to screw it up - and no one saw anything wrong with that. After the first 4 years of a failing country, they voted Bush back in to finish the job. I wonder whether it is really that he has not done a stellar job in trying to repair all of the damage done, or is it something else ????

You have a point...but only TO a point. Don't focus on the past, we have real problems NOW. Regardless of what was "inherited", what about all the unfulfilled promises made by Obama?? Isn't that the true question??
There were Democrats in Congress when all that supposed "screwing up" occured...and, with a FULLY Democratic Congress during the first 2 years of Obama's term, NOTHING got fixed...and why not?? Yes, it takes time to fix things...but nothing was really done. A budget has not been passed for years...what it up with that??? Please don't vote party...vote for the future.

On voting day, think about how purposeful and focused Ryan was and how uncontrolled Biden was. Although Biden was forceful (to a fault), he made an idiot of himself. ALL four candidates have a certain grasp of what is going on with the economy and foreign issues...BUT, Biden's out and out lie about the request for more security re the recent 9/11/12 embassy attack was flatly outrageous.

I think that Martha Raddatz did well as a moderator, except that she let Joe Biden interrupt Paul Ryan way too much.Martha Raddatz is a respected international reporter for ABC News and she's got the ear of the generals who are in charge of the on the ground fighting, first in Iraq and now in Afganistan. She knows more about both wars than Joe Biden and Paul Ryan put together.

When Joe Biden began all his smiling and many times at totally inappropriate times he came off looking like a buffoon. So that people will understand exactly what I mean here we go: buffoons – definition of buffoons by the Free Online Dictionary …A clown; a jester: a court buffoon. 2. A person given to clowning and joking. Clearly Paul Ryan won the night ! In case the Democrats think I’m a Republican stooge, I’ll have you know that I voted for LBJ, Jimmy Carter, George McGovern. I also voted for Ronald Reagan, George H.W. Bush, George W. Bush (twice) and John McCain. I’ve voted for only two losers, meaning they failed to win, since LBJ was in office, there presently is a loser in office. Let’s help him into comfortable retirement with me in November. Thank you.

actually January 3rd 2007, which was the day the Democrats took over
the House of Representatives and the Senate, at the very start of the
110th Congress.
The Democrat Party controlled a majority in both chambers for the

For those who are listening to the liberals propagating the fallacy

wouldn't give a straight answer as to putting troups in Syria. I am sick of war. 'Ladies, Rommey and Ryan still wanting to control what you do with your body.'

While Obama and Biden want even those who regard it against their religion to pay for it!

Biden's response to the issue posed was a "lie."

His saying that "It is a fact' that they 'are not forcing the hosipitals of the Catholic Church to issue contraceptives was a deliberate and deceitful deflection from their forcing Catholics to pay for abortions. In other words: "a lie."

Biden did the same when shifting the concern of 'boots on the ground' being left behind for being exposed to more danger to the 'joint chiefs of staffs."

"Weither you are anti abortion or pro choice, no one should have the right to control your future because of their personal beliefs.'

So when someone tries to blame Bush. REMEMBER JANUARY 3rd, 2007....
THE DAY THE DEMOCRATS TOOK OVER!"

Budgets do not come from the White House. They come from Congress and
the party that controlled Congress since January 2007 is the Democrat
Party.

Furthermore, the Democrats controlled the budget process for 2008 &
2009 as well as 2010 & 2011.

In that first year, they had to contend with George Bush, which caused
them to compromise on spending, when Bush somewhat belatedly got tough
on spending increases.

Reply

Nancy Pelosi & Harry Reid bypassed George Bush
entirely, passing continuing resolutions to keep government running
until Barack Obama could take office. At that time, they passed a
massive omnibus spending bill to complete the 2009 budgets.

And where was Barack Obama during this time? He was a member of that
very Congress that passed all of these massive spending bills, and he
signed the omnibus bill as President to complete 2009.

If the Democrats inherited any deficit, it was the 2007 deficit, the
last of the Republican budgets. That deficit was the lowest in five
years, and the fourth straight decline in deficit spending. After
that, Democrats in Congress took control of spending, and that
includes Barack Obama, who voted for the budgets.

If Obama inherited anything, he inherited it from himself. In a
nutshell, what Obama is saying is I inherited a deficit that I voted
for and then I voted to expand that deficit four-fold since January
20th.

He had a quiet, confident smile on his face since he knew that Laughing Gassed Joe Biden was losing his grip, if he had any, as the debate went into the 2nd half. Paul Ryan had a 12 point lead at the end of the 1st half because he scored a TD, then kicked a long field goal for 3 points and finally he slammed a "fox eating briars" grinning Joe Biden down in the end zone for a safety for the final 2 points of the half.

Finally, how would you like living under Christian ideology (which you know is not religion right?) sharia law? If you don't recognize this you will become desperate but only after it's too late.

Andrew Blawat, let's be clear. Obviously Romney's flip flopping has confused you. Both R & R will work to overturn Roe vs Wade. Taking away a woman's reproductive choice is front and center in the Republican platform. So if you are confused by this very bright line, I understand. If you are not confused and knowingly say and believe what you said, you are the one who is delusional. And BTW, you talked earlier about "attacking someone's religion." How do you feel about someone cramming their religious belief regarding aborption down a woman's choice? Do you feel just as strongly about that? Regarding your assertion about the Dream Act...please become informed. It's legislation that has had bi-partisan support and support by our military. It is not amnesty. It provides a fair and needed process to citizenship.

Poor liberals, uncle Joe was so embarrassing that obama is the only one who has said anything good about him. No one, not even the Patch's front section, has biden as declared a winner. Romney was a conservative in a liberal state. He gave his constituents what they wanted. Sounds like a man who serves the people who elect him. And Ryan was the grown up in the room last night. I just think it's time to have grown ups run the country for a change.

After reading all these comments, what really frightens me is just how uninformed most Americans are about the issues. So we make fun of Romney's religion, Ryan's "Munster hair," and although I agree that Biden is an arrogant ass, it seems all anyone got out of the debate was the fact that Joe Biden smirks a lot. This election is serious. We cannot afford four more years of Obama and God forbid even a month of Biden as president. Many of the comments here are just as lame as the candidates being bashed. No wonder we end up with incompetents in Washington. Dial it up folks.

From reading these posts, it really grieves my heart at the way ADULTS are acting. What we need to realize is that opinions are just like noses, everyone has one, they are not different. We really need to put an end to the bashing! We are not setting good examples for the generations coming after us - but we are SUPPOSE to be the UNITED states...Just because someone has an opinion that is different from yours does not give you the right to bash everything they have to say...Yes you do have freedom to speak - but with that should also come some form of RESPECT. We are grown people - or we are SUPPOSE to be grown people, but your behavior is of that of a child! Although, there are some children who are more respectful that some of you on here. What will happen, will happen...all we can do is go to the polls in November and vote...and regardless of who wins, WE NEED TO STOP ALL THE BICKERING AND COME TOGETHER AND WORK TOGETHER! But more important - those of us who profess to be Christians, need to ask if God will be pleased with our behavior. We are instructed to pray for those who are in leadership positions...REGARDLESS of their political party because clearly what happens affects EVERYBODY...some more than others - but we really need to get it together and stop all the sarcastic remarks! It is time for us to GROW UP and learn how to work together...A nation divided against itself cannot stand!

Joe as usual told it how it was, and the R&R ticket said, we'll let congress figure it out.

For those that complain that the administration was not forthcoming about the terrorist attack in Libya, I highly recommend you watch video from 9/11, where Cheney was in hiding, and Bush was reading a school book. 3000 dead Americans there, 4 dead Americans 1 month ago. 1 is too many, I agree, but math is math...

For those of you that wonder how Romney/Ryan are going to pay for that 5 trillion dollar tax cut, they're going to take it from your mortgage interest deduction and charitable contributions if you're in the middle class, because otherwise the math doesn't work.

All of these are FACTS. You can come at me with opinion all you want, but it doesn't change the FACTS.

Not what anyone on either side wants. The Drastic spending cuts that you propose would also send the economy into a freefall. You think unemployment is high now? Try twice as many unemployed.

I'm all for tax cuts that are covered by spending cuts for the middle class, those making under $250,000 of AGI, but to continue these ridiculously low tax rates for the rich is just bufoonery. By the way, I agree with cutting foreign aid, except in extremely small cases, these countries can live without U.S. taxpayer dollars.

"If anyone wants to complain that Ryan was overrun by Biden, and that Joe interupted little Pauly Ryan too much, I suggest you watch last weeks debate where Romney was so disrespectful of the Office of the President of the United State it appalled me."

Nonsense. Romney rightly claimed his time that Obama tried to appropriate for himself at the beginning of the debate while Leher was allowing it.

It was not "bullying."

It is standing up for yourself in the face of a bully no matter how subtle the bullying.

If Romney didn't he could not be President.

As a matter of fact, because Obama didn't get away with it, he lost the debate.

It was the only advantage Obama could conceive of to press and hopefully win the debate.

Similarly, it must be why Biden, not subtle at all, and instead maniacally, over-compensated in his debate to the extent that he did.

It didn't work. Also why Obama and his backers are resorting, in their commercials and stumping, not to the issues but, instead, sheer ridicule no matter how fabricated the supposed causes for ridicule.

I hate to even think about the part of the electorate who is impressed with it.

Lot's of wrong facts. but entertaining. Example: Ryan was wrong when he said a rise in the jobless rate in Biden’s hometown was “how it’s going all around America.” The rate nationally has sunk back to where it was when Obama took office. And in Ryan’s hometown, it’s more than 4 percentage points lower that it was at the start of Obama’s term.

Neither one won. If Biden could have stopped wearing a Cheshire cat grin, what he said would have been taken more seriously and win by a clear margin on all bpolls.. Both of them misstated facts; so what. This is politics, not a lie detector. The only question Biden really messed up was about the Benghazi attack; if I remember correctly, the Libyan government early on reported it as a coordinated, well planned attack, not by protestors, while the White House continued to insist on it as a reaction to that infamous film. The force that rescued the survivors knew, and undoubtedly reported the truth. One can wonder if the claim that the film caused it didn’t bring it to world attention and the protests that followed the Benghazi incident.

Who won depends on what an individual prioritizes in judging a debate. Style points probably put it at a tie, because Ryan's robotic nature certainly is the counter balance to Biden's smirking. But if you are judging it on content and substance, Biden won this easily. Ryan still refused to provide details, even when pressed for them and Biden had Ryan on the ropes several times with things like Ryan's requests for stimulus money. Also, Biden has an amazing wealth of knowledge and facts to draw from off the top of his head on a multitude of issues. And today's fact check of the debate also show Biden to have been more truthful through the debate...

I'm frustrated with seniors (age 55 and over) who buy into the argument that they should vote for Romney/Ryan because they won't make any changes to their Medicare coverage; Romney/Ryan's voucher proposal kicks in for people aged 54 or younger.

Don't today's seniors think that their little brothers and sisters, children, and grandchildren deserve the same guaranteed access to quality heath care that they have? Why would seniors accept a privatized voucher plan for their loved ones--a program that could leave millions of tomorrow's seniors without health insurance--that they would not accept for themselves?

The Romney/Ryan proposal itself is cynical, and that any senior would actually accept this argument astounds me.

Our government spends 10,000,000,000 everyday and borrows 4,000,000,000 of that 10. Re: "...there will be no money to pay for their benefits."

Assuming, Scott, that you're over 55, why do we have money for your benefits, but not for their benefits? If the goal is to extend the life of Medicare, why not privatize it now? After all, the sooner we start, the more money we'll save.

Again, the idea that somebody else should sacrifice benefits to save money that could be saved starting today sounds like a plan from Ayn Rand's "The Virtue of Selfishness." It's okay for thee, but not for me?

In fact, there are two ways to extend the life of Medicare. The Romney/Ryan plan is to cut benefits. The other approach is to reduce the cost of Medicare without cutting benefits. For example, we could allow Medicare to negotiate prescription drug prices (as Biden suggested last night) and allow people under the age of 65 to buy into Medicare so that it collects premiums from younger, healthier people.

BStein...As another financial professional, I agree that the solution to the Social Security and Medicare issues is to remove the caps. I haven't run the numbers, but in removing the caps, it would be possible to also lower the rates. I'd also take it a step further, and subject all income to FICA taxes, further lowering the rates. But no...That'd be too easy.

Everyone complains that the system is broken, but they're wrong. The system isn't broken; however, the funding mechanism is. The funding mechanism has always been broken in that its always been funded as a Pay-As-You-Go system and has always been playing catch up. The initial beneficiaries paid nothing in, but took alot out (Our grandparents and parents are the biggest free-loaders of all time!). Now that the population size is stablizing while the population is aging, the funding mechanism is showing stress.

There are two solutions. 1) Cut and/or eliminate benefits. 2) Change the funding mechanism.

For all of the privatizing folks out there...consider the fact that had SS been privatized in the 90's & 00's as many wanted, many retirees would have lost over half of there savings during the recessions. Consider that the older a person is, they can't make the best financial decisions nor analyze the insurance plan/prescription drug plans available to them...and a wrong decision could wipe them out.

Frank, they all believe that privatization is the answer. But you are so completely right, all their money would be gone because of the recession and none of them realize it.

When it comes to FICA I'm all for removing caps and subjecting all income to FICA, but again, that's too easy, you can't tempt conservatives with logic because they don't understand. They just see the bottom line.

The real truth is we don't have a spending problem in this nation, we have a revenue issue.

1) Rush Limbaugh - Called Ms. Fluke a "slut" and a "prostitute"...Not very Christian thing to say!
2) Romney - Essentially called 47% of Americans lazy bums who feel entitled to government benefits. Kind of an arogant, elitist position. Also not very compassionate in the teachings of Christ!
3) Ryan - Claims that 70% of Americans are "takers" who don't contribute to America. Again, a very belittling comment that discounts the efforts that those 70% contribute to America like serving in the military, police & fire station, garbage companies, nursing homes, etc. Arrogance, unbecoming of a Christian.
4) Mike Turzai - Claimed that the voter ID law passed by the PA legislature would help deliver the state for Mitt Romney in November. Talk about voter suppression and anti-Constitution behavior!
5) Romney/Ryan - They lie when they state they can cut rates by 20%, keeping tax revenues level and reducing the deficit & debt. It is mathematically IMPOSSIBLE.

When Republicans don't get their way...they obstruct Congress, hold America hostage, alienate our allies, tell outright lies (but they're good at polishing the turds to hide the lie) and insult the very people their supposed to be leading & inspiring.

Here are several personal observations.

1. A convergence of birthers, Birchers, white supremacists, misogynists, homophobics, Islamphobics, and Christian idealogues have hyjacked the RP.

2. How can anyone associate with a political demographic group that believes Fox News is a credible news source, including other right-wing media "G-ds" like Rush, Glen, Boortz, Cain, etc.

3. How can anyone associate with a party whose supporters believe our President is not a U.S. Citizen, is a Muslim, and believe Mitt Romney is responsible for the death of bin Laden.

4. The RP is doing everything it can to overturn Roe vs Wade. Women reproductive choices will be taken away.

5. The RP is intentionally trying to restrict and intimidate folks from voting.

6. The RP will continue to try N eliminate the separation of church/state.

7. The RP will have us in ANOTHER war.

8. The RP will roll back regulatory governance in order to ensure higher levels of corporate greed and corruption.

9. There is a generation disconnect with young adults within the RP. This is the most praised, pampered generation ever. A generation willing to give up personal relationships before their technology. The white men within the party are high maintenance resulting from entitlement. Whatever is going on, if there is not an immediate benefit to them personally, screw everyone else. Screw the common good. False sense of importance and achievement. Clueless and don't even know it.

Not to say the Repugs are any less motley than the Dems, but your terms, as they are designed to, misguide and demean.

"2. How can anyone associate with a political demographic group that believes Fox News is a credible news source, including other right-wing media "G-ds" like Rush, Glen, Boortz, Cain, etc."

How can anyone, or political demographic, associate with any current-day news source as credible? The media has long been hijacked no matter superficial differences carefully cast.

"3. How can anyone associate with a party whose supporters believe our President is not a U.S. Citizen, is a Muslim,..."

How can anyone not believe that Obama refused to produce his birth certificate---falsified or authentic---which the Public Trust bound him to do, to not test the Public's---and media's--- commitment to its preserving, or not, the very obligations of Public Office Holders to the Public Trust itself?

While baiting extremists to use their arguments to condemn all opponents---all dissent---and even blind his own supporters to what was, and remains, truly at stake?

Obama must be that special. To personably be so above the obligations of Public Office by the Public Trust.

To test his being so special to be exempt from the obligations of mere Ordinary Public Office Holders?

4. The RP is doing everything it can to overturn Roe vs Wade. Women reproductive choices will be taken away.

None sense. What would happen is abortion in only certain cases and, even at that, not at the expense of everyone.

"5. The RP is intentionally trying to restrict and intimidate folks from voting..."

Baloney: The RP, as is the DP, is using the issue to hide the fact of both parties providing still untold numbers of our voter registration forms to a foreign power long stateside.

"6. The RP will continue to try N eliminate the separation of church/state."

Once, and if, in the WH that hulabaloo will subside just as the Dems making it criminal for public office holders not being Godless.

"7. The RP will have us in ANOTHER war."

While peace is always preferred, it must be a given that the US turn its back altogether on even little girls being shot in their heads for wanting an education.

It must be the "compassionate" thing to do. No?

"8. The RP will roll back regulatory governance in order to ensure higher levels of corporate greed and corruption."

While the Dems want to ensure higher levels of political greed and corruption.

"9. There is a generation disconnect with young adults within the RP."

They did turn their backs on Ron Paul's youthful supporters for Ryan's. They are after-all Repugs and not Libertarians.

Baloney. As it is, it works both ways.

There is a solution however---a non-partisan solution at that.

1. This is nothing but propaganda that is nothing but pure hype from the Obama administration. With the recent polls it shows that your regular middle-class American supports the GOP. Obama was never vetted to the extreme in the 2008 election and he is now paying the price for that as we have finally found out what he is all about.

2. How can anyone associate with a political demographic group that believes MSNBC is a creditable news source?

3. By Muslim law if you are born to a Muslim father you are Muslim. Why does Obama have Muslim writing on the ring he wears?

4. Roe vs. Wade will not be overturned.

5. Voter ID is prudent to prevent voter law. After Georgia enacted a voter ID law minorities voting INCREASED. You need an ID to cash a check, drive, write a check and etc... What is wrong with having an ID to vote?

6. The Constitution guarantees separation of the church and state.

7. Iran is getting nukes soon. Whoever wins the election will have to deal with it.

8.Rolling back government is cost effective. We are broke and we must tighten the belt.

9. Think real hard and tell us who thinks that they deserve entitlement.

God help us is that is christianity. Obama overturned partial birth abortion ban 2 weeks into his presidency (where you can slaughter a baby as it is coming out of the birth canal). EEEEEEKS debating politics on the Patch!!! That's something i don't want to do. Besides we all know Georgia is going to Romney so why bother.

But I do have to say. Its about time a Democrat got tough with the lies and etch a sketch shifting Mitt Romney has been doing.

Biden nailed the point that Romney successfully lied about. A 20% cut across the board on taxes is a reduction of 5 trillion (give or take) add in the 2 trillion they want to add to defense and it doesn't add up. There are not enough loopholes to close, especially when you say you aren't touching the mortgage interest deduction or child deduction.

Oh and he nailed it on letting the unfunded Bush tax cuts expire on only those making over an Adjusted Income of 250/200. 97% of the small businesses fall under that amount. Think about it they pass it through. And much of the 3% above that level are hedge funds. And that's why Ryan/Rommney got that huge tax increase number because the hedge funds are using that huge loophole of treating their income as capital gains and only paying 15%. That should be treated and thus taxed as income not capital gains.

I have so many we'll intended Christian Right advocates who are so passionate about prolife, yet at the same time advocate for capital punishment, war, nuclear weaponry, and elimination of many Planned Parenthood initiatives that provide health care for women and child in great need. We won't even discuss the human impact and devastation on human life if the economic measures advocated by the RP and if the ensuing human services cut backs are realized. WWJD. The Jesus I submit to would kick some ass...protecting life is just as important after birth as it is at the moment of conception. What we have are folks living by "impersonal transactions." I have to agree with you regarding Akin. He's a perverted, back-woods idiot. Anyone, who would require his wife or daughter to bear the child of rape or incest or risk the health and life of his female loved ones, is a grotesque animal and deserves to burn in hell. I am a conservative Republican and a Christian, but such neanderthal thinking is disgustingly bacwards, sick and perverted.

I can’t stand Claire McCaskill. She is a radical, Left Wing Marxist, but at least she understands the hideous narrow-mindedness of Akin’s ilk, regarding Rape, Incest and risk to a mother’s health. If you have ever had a loved one, who has been raped, you would understand the horror she experiences, when told she is pregnant from that rape. BTW, incest is rape too, especially with a minor. If the rape victim wants the child, that is her choice, but she is under no legal or moral obligation to bear the child of such malevolent evil. My vocabulary fails me in describing such repulsive depravity imposed on a loved-one in the name of God..

January 3rd, 2007 was the day the Democrats took over the Senate and the Congress.

At the time:
The DOW Jones closed at 12,621.77
The GDP for the previous quarter was 3.5%
The Unemployment rate was 4.6%

George Bush's Economic policies SET A RECORD of 52 STRAIGHT MONTHS of JOB CREATION.

January 3rd, 2007 was the day that Barney Frank took over the House Financial Services Committee and Chris Dodd took over the Senate Banking Committee.

The economic meltdown that happened 15 months later was in what part of the economy?
BANKING AND FINANCIAL SERVICES!

McCain and Bush pushed a Senate Bill to reign in the amount of risk Fannie and Freddie were undertaking. Barney Frank and Maxine Waters accused them of being racists and not wanting poor people to own a home, They decided home ownership was a new American "right", just like health insurance. The housing meltdown did start this mess, and Dodd and Frank were responsible for it.

"Mitt Romney leads President Obama in national polls, and the president is approaching his all-time low in the RealClearPolitics average. Romney leads in some key swing states (e.g., Florida, Colorado and North Carolina) and has largely erased the deficit in others (Ohio, Virginia, Nevada). His approval rating (the likability rating so many liberals have obsessed about) is in positive territory; the gap between the two candidates’ approval ratings has all but disappeared."

Scott Terry - so true. Scary. Ann Coulter has a great new book out right now and it's very apt to this subject matter. People keep hearing all the excuses, but one thing I don't remember is Reagan blaming jimmy carter for what he inherited. He rolled up his sleeves and went to work. He brought the country back to prosperity even while having an opposing democratic congress. He showed that he had the skills to get along with anyone to get the job done. What scares me is that people want to hang on to obama as some kind of novelty or something, and believe him when he says "more time" more time". No one else has ever taken this long, and the economy was worse under carter. The construction industry lost 1,035,000 jobs under obama. What's scary, like you said, is not obama, but those who would sit with no job or way to feed their kids, and still vote for him.

When Obama has been questioned about his "one term proposition" comment, he has since said it will take another four years and maybe another President. So.. uh.. he personally killed bin Laden and he ruined the best healthcare in the world. So what highlights should we look forward to during his last term?

We know he wants to sit down with terrorist dictators in the little countries like Iran. We know he wants to close Guantanamo Bay and give the terrorist even more rights than he has given illegal Mexicans. I'm sure the future of America is going to be just fine with Barry at the helm and Rebecca at the Patch.

Ann Coulter would understand "The Black Experience" for blacks who grew up in the continental United States, a hell of a lot better than Obama. If by chance you missed out on the Hawaiian culture and American patriotism, perhaps you should learn. While you're at it, learn what you can about Indonesia and how they feel about the United States of America. Obama has little to no concept of what it's like growing up poor in America. I do and and I'm not black. It never ceases to amaze me how blind liberals are in this country when it comes to Obama. It's really not that hard. Just listen to what he says. Then watch what he is doing.

Rebecca, have you actually read it? She's got an inch full of credits and sources in the back of the book. Could be she actually knows these people and they are as disgusted as she is (as well as many of us are). Do you know Herman Cain, or Thomas Sowell, Walter Williams, Larry Elder among the many black women who have been called nasty names because they refuse to tow the democratic line? Do you know what demogogery is? She isn't the only person who has written on this subject. It's just that when black men dare to write on this subject they get called uncle tom and all sorts of other nasty names by liberals who think they've betrayed their own. There are blacks who have been writing about this subject for years, they just get ignored or blasted. You can't tell me that you believe that political parties don't use race to their advantage, because you know it's true. Actually, the book is more about whilte liberals anyway. Hre is a quote from the book: " t isn't black people complaining about a turn of phrase here or there. It's always white liberals trying to gain political advantage over their ideological opponents.'

I don't have to call radio stations to understand that Paul Ryan is trying to save what we have left of this nation. I personally don't blame our $16,000,000,000,000 debt on Obama but I do blame Obama and the Democrats for thinking we will be just fine as our loans on said debt has a low interest rate and future generations of America will be fine.

I predict if Obama finishes his second term, America will be at least $21,000,000,000,000 in debt. At that point, our economy collapses and the Global economy will collapse as well. I find no JOE BIDEN type humor in any of this.

But, her facts are sound and she does give a platform for the many blacks in this country that are sick of being used by politicians to further an agenda that actually has nothing to do with them. Nobody read my blog "We are only asking for self government", a perspective of a young girl (me) who grew up in the 60's civil rights in Atlanta. As an adult, nearly all of my black friends think like me (conservative). And in my work and my volunteer work, I'm usually the lone white in the room. We've had these discussions, and while I don't know what the black experience is like, I do know what they tell me, and I do know that I was spit on and shoved aside when I was young because I was "different". I know how they feel about how things are handled politically now. the tell me. So, maybe I have a small taste of it. I don't know. I think neither candidate won and America lost. I also think Obama's preacher was right. America's chickens have come home to roost. Our most awesome nation was created by those with a dream and those, were willing to sacrifice their entire lives to see that dream manifest.

America today still consists of people who are willing to sacrifice all to save this gift of freedom. Unfortunately, we also have people who are set on destroying America. In addition, we have people in America today, for whatever reason, are completely indifferent and would rather avoid any effort to become involved in maintaining this blessing. Last, and certainly not least, we have a very large number of people today who refuse to contribute anything at all and they are our chickens coming home to roost. We can argue for eternity about what side is to blame and who specifically but I believe the categories above cover just about everyone in America today.

If I am wrong, I would love to hear specifics about who will save us and how we are going to keep These UNITED States of America as we once knew it. Not well wishes or Dreams From My Grandchildren but exactly what will be done. It can’t be done and it will not be done. It’s unfortunate.

If we would keep our word and use money to accomplish an end and put it down, we would have been a lot better off. People allowed to subsist too long without any responsibility attached get in a rut, and the system has fed it, and then turned around and demanded more. Then, our society began spending its time working for the almighty dollar, going outside of the home place where we once took care of one another. Families no longer live near each other etc... Lots of reasons.

She also said she was not only a Christian first, but also a mean-spirited bigoted conservative second. After the Oklahoma City bombing she stated that the only regret about Timothy McVeigh is that he didn't go to the NY Times Building. Or maybe you remember her saying women should be armed but not allowed to vote because they have no ability to understand how money is earned? Annie has quite a following of extreme wackos who probably fantasize in having sex with her in army camouflage panties. And now this anorexic blonde chick understands the Black experience? No, the only thing she knows about is how to promote her book by making the most obviously outrageous comments because their are elements of your political party who eat this pig slop up. Eddie, all you are spouting is your libtard opinion. It means nothing without facts.

The fact is that Obama declared executive privilege to not allow facts to come out about Fast and Furious. Obama promised transparency in government matters but he lied through his teeth.

According to the CBO the cost of Obamacare is now up to 1.93 trillion. There is no such thing as "free" medical care because someone has to pay for it.

Obama's failed Green Energy projects:

Since taking office, Obama has invested billions of taxpayer dollars in private businesses, including as part of his stimulus spending bill. Many of those investments have turned out to be unmitigated disasters — leaving in their wake bankruptcies, layoffs, criminal investigations and taxpayers on the hook for billions. Consider a few examples:

• Raser Technologies. In 2010, the Obama administration gave Raser a $33 million taxpayer-funded grant to build a power plant in Beaver Creek, Utah. According to the Wall Street Journal, after burning through our tax dollars, the company filed for bankruptcy protection this year. The plant has fewer than 10 employees, and Raser owes $1.5 million in back taxes.

Andrew Blawat

Part 2:

• ECOtality. The Obama administration gave ECOtality $126.2 million in taxpayer money in 2009 for, among other things, the installation of 14,000 electric car chargers in five states. Obama even hosted the company's president, Don Karner, in the first lady's box during the 2010 State of the Union address as an example of a stimulus success story.

According to ECOtality's own SEC filings, the company has since incurred more than $45 million in losses and has told the federal government: "We may not achieve or sustain profitability on a quarterly or annual basis in the future."

Worse, according to CBS News, the company is "under investigation for insider trading," and Karner has been subpoenaed "for any and all documentation surrounding the public announcement of the first Department of Energy grant to the company."

• Nevada Geothermal Power (NGP). The Obama administration gave NGP a $98.5 million taxpayer loan guarantee in 2010. The New York Times reported in October that the company is in "financial turmoil" and that "after a series of technical missteps that are draining Nevada Geothermal's cash reserves, its own auditor concluded in a filing released last week that there was 'significant doubt about the company's ability to continue as a going concern.'"

Part 3:
• First Solar. The Obama administration provided First Solar with more than $3 billion in loan guarantees for power plants in Arizona and California. According to a Bloomberg Businessweek report last week, the company "fell to a record low in Nasdaq Stock Market trading May 4 after reporting $401 million in restructuring costs tied to firing 30% of its workforce."
The Obama administration gave Abound Solar a $400 million loan guarantee to build photovoltaic panel factories. According to Forbes, in February the company halted production and laid off 180 employees.

• Beacon Power. The Obama administration gave Beacon — a green-energy storage company — a $43 million loan guarantee. According to CBS News, at the time of the loan, "Standard and Poor's had confidentially given the project a dismal outlook of 'CCC-plus.'" Last fall, Beacon received a delisting notice from Nasdaq and filed for bankruptcy.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. A company called SunPower got a $1.2 billion loan guarantee from the Obama administration, and as of January, the company owed more than it was worth. Brightsource got a $1.6 billion loan guarantee and posted a string of net losses totaling $177 million.

And let's not forget Solyndra, the solar panel manufacturer that received $535 million in taxpayer-funded loan guarantees and went bankrupt, leaving taxpayers on the hook.

Comment_arrow

Andrew Blawat

12:33 pm on Monday, October 15, 2012

Part 4:
Obama has declared that all of the projects received funding "based solely on their merits." But as Hoover Institution scholar Peter Schweizer reported in his book "Throw Them All Out," 71% of the Obama Energy Department's grants and loans went to "individuals who were bundlers, members of Obama's National Finance Committee, or large donors to the Democratic Party."

Collectively, these Obama cronies raised $457,834 for his campaign, and they were in turn approved for grants or loans of nearly $11.35 billion. Obama said this week that it's not the president's job "to make a lot of money for investors." Well, he sure seems to have made a lot of (taxpayer) money for investors in his political machine.

The cronyism and corruption are catching up with the administration. According to Politico, "The Energy Department's inspector general has launched more than 100 criminal investigations" related to the department's green-energy programs.

Now the man who made Solyndra a household name says Romney's record at Bain "is what this campaign is going to be about." Good luck with that, Mr. President. If Obama wants to attack Romney's alleged private-equity failures as chief executive of Bain, he'd better be ready to defend his own public-equity failures as chief executive of the United States.

So R&R say the 20% tax cut equating to $5 trillion is non-negotiable. They are very clear about this despite Romney saying otherwise during the first debate. The question now becomes how does he pay for this and remain revenue neutral? Pixie dust because R&R won't get specific about how this is done. To say supply side economic growth is going to carry the day is foolish. What he is saying is trust me, elect me, and everything will be peachy because I said so. Yes, there is a pony under this pile of horse shiittee. But the dishonesty here is the cuts will have to come from elementary and secondary education, law enforcement, veterans' health care and other benefits, biomedical research, and environmental protection reductions big time. Finally, R&R will have no choice but to eliminate mortgage interest deductions, health care and charitable contribution deductions. When presented with this finding by the Tax Policy Center (nonpartisan) Romney's response was "garbage." And this is our path to recovery? Why do I want to follow two guys who have pandered to the extreme right wing elements of their party, have consistently mislead and flip flopped on issue after issue in an obvious attempt to say anything to get elected? I have heard her speak on many TV shows, and I've read quotes and excerpts from her books, and I know all I need to know about Ann Coulter. The double-edged sword of "freedom of speech" truly does cut both ways. I would strongly defend her right to say and publish what she does, because that is what is great about America. Well give that Obama has a huge lead in early voting, already, the oversampling would appear to be in line (or possibly even underestimating) what actual turn out is likely to be:

An analysis of 2008 returns in Cuyahoga County by the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law found that African Americans used early, in-person voting at approximately 26 times the rate of white voters. Blacks use early voting most of anyone but they are only 13 percent of the population.

Roger - I truly don't understand what you mean when you say "fooled by Obama." Are you implying that Pres. Obama is not acting in good faith and with good intentions when performing his duties? Or do you believe he is merely misguided, as you seem to think the rest of us are? Either way, your comment does nothing to attempt to enlighten others about what you believe. I'll tell you right now, when I hear someone start with the name-calling and outrageous conspiracy theories, I stop listening right then, because I know all I'm going to learn is how bereft of ideas the speaker is.

The way he has destroyed the country the last 4 years is pretty good evidence. U6 unemployment rate of 14.7%, 3,621,000 jobs less than in November 2007 despite population rising by 11 million, his strategy of class warfare, his foreign policy which has turned friends into foes, his green projects which not only failed miserably but which he used to fund bundlers for his campaign, Fast and Furious, Benghazi, Trillion plus added to the deficit for each year he has been president are a few to start with.

First of all, I still don't see how the things you listed (even if they were all accurate) indicate that the President isn't trying to do what he thinks is best for the country. This is an important point, because if you can convince yourself that your opponent isn't acting in good faith, or is dishonest about his motivations, it's easy to dismiss his ideas and proposals as obviously underhanded and destructive. My experience is that this is what people on the right do: Blanket condemn your opponents, even implying they are evil or anti-American, so you don't have to then argue issues point-by-point.

Wayne, Andrew and BStien, it is obvious that none of you are in business. When you go to a new company as the director, that has been hired to exert change for the better, you can make general statements to the stock holders about the fact that you are going to turn things around. Once you get in there & take a hard look at the books, you can devise a plan of action to chart a course, to change the direction of the drifting ship. I admire that Mitt is not giving false numbers & ideas until he gets a look at the books. Obama spouted all sorts of "I AM GOING TO DO THIS AND THAT " just to get votes & he still has not closed GIT-Bay! Why, because after he saw the facts he knew his words were foolish. Mitt is a business man. He has experience in taking failing companies & doing the hard & dirty work of saving those companies, Yes, he let some dead weight go for the survival of the whole. The left moans that he has cut some jobs but, the companies he worked with are still viable & are stronger because he made the hard decisions. Mitt will have to do the same thing for America. Obama did not and will not. He must go! OMG! Mitt needs to see the true numbers, not the numbers the left is putting out just to sway some foolish voters into believing that the very month before the election, BAMB! the problem is solved!!! Grow up babies of the left, you can not GIVE away the country & expect the takers to not get fat of the sweat of others, rise up workers & vote out the fools!

A new Romney/Ryan ad coming out; according to redstate.com:

"The ad, titled "Spring Break President" opens with this line: "Sometimes Barack Obama seems to confuse being president with being on Spring Break."

The ad highlights the fact that Obama has not taken his job as Commander in Chief seriously; playing over 100 rounds of golf, avoiding serious news outlets and press conferences in favor of entertainment shows and hanging out with celebrities.

The ad notes that in the aftermath of the terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Libya, Obama refused to cancel his Las Vegas fundraising party.

Finally, the ad ends with this bold tagline: 'It's time to put the adults back in charge of America.'"

I fell for those who hitched their wagon to the race issue because now they have to attach failure to the race issue, just like Georgia had to attach Carter to its place in history. SOmetimes the truth hurts but it is better to put the bad past behind up and move forward. What does Obama/Biden have to bring to the table that they already had the time to bring to the table and did not! NOTHING! They offer nothing to the economy. They offer nothing to our security but lies. They offer nothing to education but words. They offer nothing to our stand in the world but weakness. They bring nothing to the table but their failed past. America can do better, America must do better. It is time for new young blood. Obama was a superstar that has fizzled out! Yet when they "make it" the Al Sharpton's of the world want to call them Uncle Toms! How's that for the true color of racism! Jackson and Sharpton are making millions off the plight of the uneducated and Obama gives black schools a waiver on educating the black children of America. Here are some great words from Booker T Washington:

"There is a class of colored people who make a business of keeping the troubles, the wrongs, and the hardships of the Negro race before the public. Having learned that they are able to make a living out of their troubles, they have grown into the settled habit of advertising their wrongs-partly because they want sympathy and partly because it pays. Some of these people do not want the Negro to lose his grievances, because they do not want to lose their jobs."

Civil rights was an issue a long time ago but the Democrats did not want this.

Booker Taliaferro Washington (April 5, 1856 – November 14, 1915) was an African-American educator, author, orator, and advisor to Republican presidents. He was the dominant leader in the African-American community in the United States from 1890 to 1915. Representative of the last generation of black American leaders born in slavery, he spoke on behalf of the large majority of blacks who lived in the South but had lost their ability to vote through disfranchisement by DEMOCRATS.

As a secret vigilante group, the Klan targeted freedmen and their allies; it sought to restore white supremacy by threats and violence, including murder, against black and white Republicans. In 1870 and 1871, the federal government passed the Force Acts, which were used to prosecute Klan crimes. Prosecution of Klan crimes and enforcement of the Force Acts suppressed Klan activity. In 1874 and later, however, newly organized and openly active paramilitary organizations, such as the White League and the Red Shirts, started a fresh round of violence aimed at suppressing blacks' voting and running Republicans out of office. These contributed to segregationist white Democrats regaining political power in all the Southern states by 1877.

Why are the Democrats trying to rewrite history?

When this great American experiment is tested severely, and that day shall come, perhaps one or more of you will think, "Gee, how hard would it to have been to have listened, and then fixed the problems back in 2012?"

We are racing toward the edge of an abyss, and most folks are clinging to Party lines that are 50 years old.

By the same token, GOP philosophy that privatization will make things better (For everyone who is privatizing, but for the people, not-so-much) removes guarantees.

So let's get this straight. Andrew Blawat rails about democrats blindly falling into liberal propaganda. Additionally, any counter POV to his extreme perspective is greeted with "not fact based." So now he is praising 2016: Obama's America. How funny and pathetic. The movie is based on Dinesh D'Souza's book The Roots of Obama's Rage. This guy is a conservative political commentator who is president of The King's College, a subsidiary of Campus Crusade for Christ which embraces Evangelical causes, biblical worldview, and ultimately the outcome of dominionism in America (meaning society controlled by Christian Nationalist). Oh, their "campus" is located in the Empire State Building. Whoopee. The movie has been panned as "a work of propaganda that offers base innuendo in lieu of argument." The movie's premise is President Obama shares an anticolonialist doctrine, and is intentionally weakening and impoverishing the country. The President will "put his nefarious plan into motion" during his second term. The movie is funded by a small group of very wealthy conservative businessmen. Andrew Blawat, you are a piece of work. You are doing exactly what you demean democratic supporters and liberals for doing. Priceless. So we can now expect another string of right wing propaganda films to pop up...just like the wacko Rapture movies that appealed to the same Republican demographic profile...creepy wackos.

Andrew Blawat

7:47 pm on Monday, October 15, 2012

"E Pluribus Unum" the interviews of the people who grew up with Obama tells you what he is all about. It is not a propaganda film, like Michael Moore's work that uses emotional tactics to get out the vote against a candidate. Instead it is a factual, unemotional documentary of Obama's life and cultural influences. If what Obama is actually doing to our country wasn't so distructive to our nation's heritage, economy and culture one might even come away feeling somewhat empathetic to Obama's goals and dreams. At the very least one will take the objective truths of Obama's anti-colonialist influences learned first hand from his father, and mentors who were card carrying communists, Weather Underground radicals, and the like. He detests what America is and stands for; the change he wants to briing is to destroy that cultural heritage.

What will America look like in 2016 if Obama is re-elected? That is the producers' question that he leaves with the viewers to consider.

Woman's rights?

Republican Senator A. A. Sargent of California pioneered the 19th Amendment to the U. S. Constitution in 1878. Encouraged by Susan B. Anthony, Sargent’s amendment was also called the Susan B. Anthony Amendment. Unfortunately, a Democrat controlled senate defeated the passage of the amendment four times.

Only after the Republicans won control of congress in 1919 did the Equal Suffrage Amendment pass. It found favor in the House of Representatives in May and then passed the Senate in June.

As the 19th Amendment was circulating for ratification, the states with Republican legislatures passed the amendment. Thirty-six states ratified the Amendment. Twenty-six states had Republican legislatures and easily ratified the Amendment. Nine states voted against its ratification—eight of those states had Democratic legislatures.

Even before the Amendment was part of the Constitution, twelve states, all with Republican congresses, had conferred suffrage rights on women. The 19th Amendment entered the Constitution August 26, 1920, after Tennessee, the last state to do so, ratified the Amendment.

I'm so busy as of late - no time to write. But if I did, I'd like to pose the question: Does character and associations matter? And if so, why? Too many coincidences iin the associations that obama found himself in the company of. Why was he so fascinated with marxism and anti-American protestors? Protestors that actually threw bombs! Watch the movie, and see his associations growing up, his mother's philosophy, his father's philosophy (hethinks it's ok to tax a country 100% then redistribute). Do these things matter when making important decisions? I think they do. When you know the facts, it's very scary where we will be if he continues in office.
And Cynthia-I think the "handlers" referred to are the likes of harry reid, pelosi, etc... Notice when the health bill was being rammed through, you hardly ever heard a thing about obama. "Diplomatic"?

By putting Obama in the position of having to confirm---or not---"Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are not involved in security decisions."?

Clearly Hillary was trying to protect Biden's statement, during the debate, of "they were not told."

Thus, in part, "they're," according to the admin later, to have somehow meant the administration and not (as it was took, just) Obama and Biden.

What can Obama say?

That he should have known but Hillary, his SOS, didn't tell him? So? He is not responsible?

Let's say, he takes responsibility by simply saying "I take responsibility for failing to impress upon my subordinates my need to know?

Whine: "They promised to take care of things, with there being "protestors" because of "the Movie" "malarkey, while I went to Nevada to attend to 'do-not-disturb' reelection campaign matters only?"

Either he's cooked or the nation is.

So far however, Romney has shown himself to be quite human enough and sharp enough to, I believe, finish Obama off on this tomorrow night.

Obama's only hope will be planted questions by planted questioners in the "town-hall" venue (supplied no doubt by MxCty) to somehow avoid the issue altogether.

He won't be able to do it, or, if he does, not make himself look worse for it.

One thing for sure: as Obama's water jug slips in their grasps, enough of the media's talking heads will have to wonder just how much further they will be able to scratch their heads and still have any heads left left to scratch after this one.

"What can Obama say?"---Me

They are going to say what bin Biden had been instructed to say, and did say, during the debate.

That they will pursue the perps to "the Gates of Hell" and make them pay.

'After the fact.'

'Obama got bin-Laden. Didn't he?

They will say they did it in the case of bin Laden "after the fact" of Bush.

What's the come-back?

As events should have it, the topic for tomorrow's debate:

CinC of a nation (whether Obama and admin believes it or not) AT WAR is "not involved in security decisions"?

"Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said the buck stops with her when it comes to who is to blame for security ahead of a deadly assault on the U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya.

"I take responsibility" for what happened on September 11, Clinton said in an interview with CNN's Elise Labott soon after arriving in Lima, Peru, for a visit.

The attack killed Chris Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya, and three other Americans at the consulate.

The interview was one of a series given to U.S. television networks Monday night, the first such interviews she has given about the Benghazi attack.

Clinton insisted President Barack Obama and Vice President Joe Biden are not involved in security decisions. "---CNN

Obvious lie as Obama loves to micro-manage. This was tossed on the table in order to stop Romney from confronting Obama on it during the debate.

"Don G., I think it's because he knows he has an ace in the hole and that he has his base in his back pocket. they won't challenge him and he does what he wants."---Tammy

By "he," I presume you are talking about Obama.

"This is a free ride for him at taxpayers expense. What he doesn't seems to understand is that if he begins to flub up, the media will drop him like a hot potatoe."

The owned media is in a quandary. It started immediately following the first debate when they refused to acknowledge that Obama had been a colossal failure. The media waited until the polls indicated just how much of a failure. But even at that, sought excuses.

The media, desperate, even over-compensated the electorate's decision by going head-over-heels overboard claiming Biden won his debate.

The reason? The media's script writers in MxCty refusing to let Obama, and, in part, their Dream Act, go.

"Not sure about his groupies though...."

Never mind them.

Polls are showing Romney gaining four points in the swing states and tomorrow's debate has yet to happen.

Prepare yourself for a tainted election though where unwanted red votes in Ohio are temporarily relayed to Georgia to add to red votes in Georgia and the same number of votes, cast blue in Georgia, returned to Ohio to add to Ohio's blue votes---without upsetting the overall tallies of the numbers of total voters appearing at the polls in each state.

All according to an algorithm that offsets the polls leading into election day without upsetting the tallies of the total numbers of votes (supposedly) cast in each state.

All of which can be accomplished by an electronic place-holder for the flip-over as provided here by a referendum also appearing on the electronic ballot.

I'm sure it happened before. Though, in that case, to deprive Kerry.

Meanwhile, neither party has made an issue of the MxGov being provided still untold numbers of our voter registration forms which can result in votes cast by numbers of persons included in the tallies but who don't even exist much less having actually appeared at any voting booth---but only in the tallies.

PS: BTW, they can only go so far. They won't go so far, I think, to offset the true counts by a margin that exceeds any lead in the polls going into election day, or, if behind in the polls going into election day, that much plus one percent.

If Romney is going to win, he may have to win by at least one % of the voters having actually cast more votes for him than the polls going into election day, plus margin for error, indicated.

If you think any POTUS is responsible for rising healthcare cost, PLEASE DON'T VOTE.

Neither Party has the 'oomph' to change the meteoric rise in healthcare costs, they will bankrupt this County. ACA does not address cost containment issues fully.

BOTH Parties, working together, are capable of real change.

That will happen in 2028 or when pigs fly, whichever comes first.

I'm all about fiscal responsibility and Obamacare even provides medical coverage for illegals.

When people have free healthcare they will use it more which will increase prices. Currently they go to the E/R and the far majority of time they are discharged with instruction to follow-up with a physician but they do not do that because of lack of insurance.

Studies have shown that preventive medicine is not cost effective.

Obama got bin laden, no quibbling about that. The embassy attack is reminiscent of how Clinton allowed Islamic extremists to gain power, futilely sending cruise missiles.

Here is the whole sentence: If he accepts the killings as his fault again it shows his lack of leadership to understand the importance of security and that under his reign we were attacked by terrorist, something Bush made sure never happened again.

Your reply here "successful terrorist attack against Americans in the Continental U.S. after 9/11" mentions the Continental U.S. Hers does not.

You, nor any other American can understand what $4Trillion dollars from the Federal budget would look like or feel like. Cut it all, and the streets will be filled with the discontent and hungry masses.

Fact is, both Parties have a plan to reduce the deficit leading up to 2021, and that plan is in place now. The only thing to question is what we cut.

This is true and this is exactly why Socialism doesn't work. The ole "give a man a fish/teach a man to fish" saying is such a valuable statement. You teach enough people to sit on their ass until the dinner bell rings and you get what we have. There is no excuse for hunger in this world. Starvation is caused by government one way or another. I feel it important that we all realize, even after 9/11/01, Americans have been attacked and murdered by terrorists around the world. Both under Bush and Obama. The recent Libyan Terrorist Attack killed the Ambassador and Military.

I'm still not sure what she meant but it won't change the facts either way. Other attacks in the past have killed civilian Americans and Military on George Bush's watch since 2001.
