This Saturday evening at 6pm at Graystone Church a Benefit Concert hosted by The Youth from Chestnut Grove Baptist Church in Grayson will be taking place.  Some local, amazing talents will be leading worship in an effort to help raise funds for medical purposes for the family of Jason Brooks, my brother.

No one wants to ask for help because most would like to think that they can handle any situation, but when someone wants to bless you, whether you feel you're worthy or not, let them.  In this case, Jason is the youth pastor at Chestnut Grove Baptist and his youth know his family's situation.  These youth have decided to take the teachings from Jason about Jesus and the bible and put it into action by doing something greater than themselves for someone else.  There is no greater thing than watching determined youth work positively towards a goal as a unified unit and these youth are making a change that will positively impact the lives of people that they so desperately care about.

When God sends blessings to touch people He determines whos worthy, not man.  We can always say "I'm not worthy" and to some extent it's true: we don't deserve it.  But because God is providing it we are deemed worthy by Him, so we then need to receive that blessing just as we receive His salvation.

The concert is being held at Graystone Church (1551 Ozora Road Loganville, GA  30052) from 6pm -7:30pm this Saturday the 19th.  Tickets are $10 at the door and the doors will open at 5:30pm.  Baked goods will be sold before and after the concert as well as a silent auction.  All proceeds will go directly to the Brooks Family.
