Eastside Medical Showcases Patient Tower and Local Artists

Eastside Medical Center, a 310-bed hospital that serves the residences of Gwinnett and surrounding counties, will be hosting an open house for the opening of their new, state of-the-art patient tower from 5-8 p.m. on Thursday, January 17, 2013. The new tower features advanced technology including a hybrid operating suite and 48 surgical beds to better serve Gwinnett County and
surrounding communities as they have done for the past 32 years.
Also at the open house, artwork and original pieces will be showcased in public areas of the patient tower in an art exhibit titled, “The Art of Healing,” which will feature pieces – some for sale – of 20 local artists and from students at four local high schools.
Complimentary hors d’oeuvres and drinks will be served at the event, as well as tours of the new facility.
