St. Matthew's mission is to serve Jesus through worship and by actively serving the community through the power of love. The church has many ministries to bring people together and to reach out to others, including its Brotherhood Ministry, Daughters of the King Ministry, Women's Ministry, Singles Ministry, Liturgical Ministries, Outreach Ministries and its Global Mission Ministry. Music is an important aspect of worship in the church with a sanctuary choir, a handbell choir, a folk group and a children's choir. St. Matthew's Preschool offers programs in music, computers, ballet, Spanish and Karate.
