I am supporting Barbara Bender for Mayor of Snellville because she has exhibited time after time the LEADERSHIP skills to make the tough and reasoned decisions needed to continue moving Snellville in a POSITIVE direction. She understands that it will take a TEAM of independent thinking council members working as a cohesive unit to keep the City of Snellville moving FORWARD into the future. I look forward to being a part of that team.

As Mr. Howard has pointed out in his comment above, this debate provides an excellent opportunity for Snellville voters to see for themselves the difference between the two candidates. I support Barbara Bender for mayor. She is the ONLY candidate who has been a leader, and she is also the only candidate with a history of seeing things through from concept to completion. The Farmer's Market, Snellville Spirit magazine, the concerts and festivals on the Town Green (including this weekend's Fall Festival), the economic development activity that has revitalized many sections of the city are all direct results of Ms. Bender's leadership. In comparison, a review of city records indicates that her opponent's most significant accomplishment was an ice cream social for city employees.
Barbara Bender is clearly only candidate with the qualifications, ability and support necessary to serve the best interests of the city.

I feel for Kelly Kautz. If she wins this election she will have her life made a living hell by the rest of the city council. Do you wonder why several council posts were unopposed? Who in their right mind except an egotistical, self absorbed and self serving hack would want to be be thrown in that viper pit called Snellville politics. It always makes good reading in the AJC.
Kelly if you should lose this election fall on your knees and give praise to a merciful God.

Who would want to serve? I'm a combat decorated vietnam veteran who has owned his own business for 25 years, is long past feeding his ego....but does care about where he lives and his neighbors.
