Public Invited to US Congressman's Veterans Town Hall Meeting

Rep. Paul Broun will be hosting the event at Loganville's American Legion Post 233 on Veterans Day.

For Veterans Day on Monday (Nov. 11), U.S. Congressman Paul Broun (GA-10) is hosting a town hall meeting at the Loganville American Legion Post 233

Veterans and their families from all over the area are encouraged to attend the free meeting, which will begin at 6 p.m. Broun's constituent service representatives also will be in attendance to meet with veterans and their families who may need help obtaining benefits, service awards, or any other issues they may be facing.

"I believe that every day is an occasion to honor the individuals who have served this great nation," said Rep. Broun in a news release. "It is a special treat to be able to host these brave men and women on Veterans Day. I look forward to having open and honest dialogue, and it is my sincere hope that these veterans will feel welcome to speak their minds about whatever issues concern them most. Additionally, I have arranged for members of my staff to be available to any attendees seeking individual help."

American Legion Post 233 is located at 4635 Atlanta Hwy. in Loganville. The post and the city of Loganville also are hosting a Veterans Day ceremony at 11 a.m. the same day near Loganville City Hall, located at 4385 Pecan St.
