As facilitators of this wonderful center our mission is to empower our community with a total life wellness concept.  We are strengthening the minds of youth through positive thinking.  If they think they can, therefore they will know they can.

Through repetition an individual can grasp anything when they are focused.  As a former football player, I had to conquer mind over matter to become a good athlete.  Believing in oneself is the first step towards accomplishing this goal.

Most everyone wanted to be a singer, musician or dancer when they were young, but as we grew up most of us were told to become something else or have a back-up plan.  It is interesting that even at the sound of music a baby will start to sing and bounce up and down to the beat.  Before long, he or she will try to reenact what they hear and see to perform in their own way. Arts are a part of all of us and we came into the world with it, yet because we were told to do something else, many of us abandoned it and left it behind.  Now it is time to pick up the pieces and embrace the gifts that we were called to.

Currently at our center we provide unique after school services.  We offer transportation as a courtesy to bring working parent’s children to our center to attend a performing arts class.  Children who participate in afterschool arts have the advantage of choosing a focus program and participating in it several times throughout the course of the week.

An average day of afterschool is arriving at the center, eating a snack and completing homework before starting art classes.  Education is very important to us, so we ensure that academics remain a priority.  Children are able to participate in recreational activities when they are not in art classes.  When they are in arts class, they are not only taught theory but are instructed in developing their skill set to become professional and well versed performers.

We also offer evening classes which begin at 6pm for the general public.  Diverse class schedules for basic, intermediate and advance students run throughout the week to accommodate any schedule.  We actually are hosting an open house for the School of Arts evening and weekend classes tomorrow from 11am – 4pm.  If you are interested in enrolling your child, come and sign up for classes that begin next week.
