Aimee Copeland to Share Insightful and Humorous Anecdotes About Living “Differently Abled”

She and a number of other panelists will speak on an assortment of topics.

Who/What: Aimee Copeland returned to the University of West Georgia’s campus for the first time since her zip line accident this summer to participate on a panel with current and former students with congenital and acquired disabilities to discuss living “differently abled.” Listen to the panelists share their personal experiences in an engaging, enlightening and entertaining broadcast via UWG’s own The WOLF Internet Radio. This discussion was a part of UWG’s DisABILITIES Awareness Day on Oct. 22 in honor of National Disability Awareness Month.

  • Dating is often part of the college experience, can you share about your dating relationships and how your dating experiences may have been influenced by your disability?
  • If you could talk to a high school student with your disability what would you recommend that they do to prepare for college/work /life?
  • What is the most unique, strange or humorous question anyone has asked about your disability?
