Covenant Counseling & Family Resource Center Receives Award at Pinnacle Awards

The event was sponsored by the Gwinnett Chamber.

Covenant Counseling & Family Resource Center of Snellville recently was recognized by the Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce as the 2013 Small Business Pinnacle Award winner among nonprofits in Gwinnett County.

Covenant was selected from among several organizations nominated for this award, which focuses on a nonprofits' strengths, including response to adversity, impact on the community, strength of the Board of Directors and growth.

Scott Satory of Service First Roofing, winner of the 2012 Small Business Person of the Year Award, gave a $1,000 gift to Covenant in recognition of the honor. Rev. Jaye Lynn Peabody, Executive Director, accepted the award on behalf of the organization.

Covenant Counseling & Family Resource Center is a nonprofit organization with a mission of promoting healing and wholeness in the community through pastoral counseling, psychotherapy, education and consultation. Covenant provides counseling services for individuals, couples, groups, and family members of all ages including children. Covenant also provides pastoral consultation for pastors, church staff members, health care organizations and other community agencies in addition to church/community education and clinical pastoral education.
