'Gangnam Style' Flash Mob in Downtown Winder Benefits Those in Need

Downtown Winder kicked off the month of December with a flash mob to benefit those in need.

The group performed a dance made famous through South Korean rapper PSY's "Gangnam Style" video. Participants — and those who just wanted to watch — were asked to bring a non-perishable food item for the food pantry or a new, unwrapped toy for Holiday Connection. Holiday Connection is a gift store operated by Barrow County Family Connection/Communities in Schools, a collaborative in which various local agencies work together to meet the needs of Barrow County residents.

Thank you to Meredith Cameron, director of the Winder Downtown Development Authority, for uploading these photos to our Barrow Patch Pics & Clips gallery
