If the pollen isn't bothering you, get out and about this weekend; there are some good reasons to, such as charities, fundraisers and just plain old fun stuff.
1. and Dance Mix at
When/Where: Friday, April 29, 9 p.m.-3 a.m., Eastside Station, 2166 Highpoint Road, Snellville.

Why Go: For those who like to sing and those who don't, Eastside Station has a compromise for both: Every Friday night, the party place has karaoke and dance music playing throughout the venue so that both types can have a good time. Don't like to dance or sing? Eat something tasty off the Eastside menu.
Pricing: Everyone 21 and up are free all night; everyone else is $10. Must be 18 years old to enter.

2. Georgia Frontier Days
When/Where: Thursday-Friday, April 28-29, 9 a.m.-3 p.m., and Satuday-Sunday, April 30-May 1, 10 a.m.-5 p.m., Stone Mountain Park, 1000 Robert E. Lee Drive, Stone Mountain.
Why Go: Step back in time at Stone Mountain's Antebellum Plantation for an event that relives the Civil War and pioneer eras. Replicating the look of a western frontier, attendees can get a bit of history by chatting with "explorers" of DeSoto in the 1500s, meeting the founder of the Georgia colony, and learning the different ways of cooking, daily skills, war strategies, medicine and more.
Pricing: Tickets are $11 for all ages.
3. 7th Annual Lilburn Relay Rally
When/Where: Friday, April 29, 5:30 p.m.-10:30 p.m., Lilburn City Park, 76 Main Street, Lilburn.
Why Go: Thirteen team sponsors (including Lilburn Patch) line up the annual Lilburn Relay Rally so far to support the American Cancer Society. As another team for the event, the Lilburn Women's Club will host a "Survivors Reception" honoring all local citizens who have fought cancer. Cancer survivors will lead the first lap of the relay, and entertainment will line the Lilburn Park stage throughout the evening.
Pricing: Free to attend the rally.
4. Bonnie & Clyde, The Two Person, Six Gun Musical
When/Where: Thursday-Saturday, April 28-30, 8 p.m., and Sunday, May 1, 3 p.m., ART Station, 5384 Manor Drive, Stone Mountain.
Why Go: Revisit the true story of Bonnie Parker and Clyde Champion Barrow, the notorious couple that went on a countrywide crime spree in the 1930s. A classic that will sure to connect with both youngsters and older audiences, ART Station's latest production will chronicle the events of the famous lovers.
Pricing: Tickets range from $18 to $27.
5. Harmony Grove Preschool Garage Sale
When/Where: Saturday, April 30, 8 a.m.-2 p.m., Harmony Grove United Methodist Church, 50 Harmony Grove Road, Lilburn.
Why Go: Love garage-saling? Visit Harmony Grove United Methodist for their huge garage/yard sale this weekend to raise funds for their preschool's upcoming school year.
Pricing: Free.
