It's the middle of the week, which means it's time to start planning for the weekend. Temperatures will be a little warmer, so it's a perfect opportunity to get out of the house with the children and do something cooler than watching television. 1. "Community Fitness Staurdays"

Why Go: Spruce up your weekend by taking your family to the theatre. This play is a comedy/musical featuring a show the "Little Sisters of Hoboken" put on to raise money to bury nuns accidentally poisoned by the convent cook. A show full of humor and uplifting musical numbers, it will be sure to get laughter and smiles from your whole family. Probably best for familes with older children.

Why Go: Your little diva or rock-star can sign their little hearts out at this coffee shop and more in Lawrenceville. A song inventory of more than 94,000 choices will surely give them something to sing about! This is a great family event to do with friends.

4. "Dog Portraits" Art Exhibit by Becky Kidd
When: Saturday, Feb 19th @ 12pm-3pm
Why Go: Expose your kids (and yourself) to a little culture in your neighborhood. Becky Kidd loves to portray dogs and kids through whimsical, colorful portraits. Come meet Becky in person and see her dog portraits first-hand.

5. "The Outrageous Adventures of Sheldon and Mrs. Levine"
When: 8 p.m., Feb 18-19; and 3 p.m., Feb. 20. (Additional dates through March 6.)

Why Go: Putting the "fun" in "dysfunctional" is the name of the game for this unforgettable play. Sheldon is searching for his mother's happiness, and we are along for the ride as they exchange letters thousands of miles apart, but still too close for comfort. This play is fun for the whole family, but it is probably best for older children.
