Home Depot Donates $12K to Snellville Veteran's Memorial Project

The memorial is expected to be unveiled on May 24 at City Hall.

Snellville’s soon-to-be-completed Veteran’s Memorial project has received a $12,000 grant from the Home Depot Foundation, according to a posting on the city’s website.

The memorial, which as been funded through donations and the sale of commemorative bricks, is expected to be officially unveiled on May 24 in front of City Hall.

It will feature a “Wall of Veterans,” an eternal flame and a waterfall.

 “We are always happy to support efforts that better the communities surrounding our hometown – especially those that align with our focus on veterans,” said Gaven Gregory, executive director of The Home Depot Foundation. “We’re proud to partner with the city of Snellville to honor the men and women who have bravely served our country.”
