Social Media Expert to Address Snellville Entrepreneur Summit

Do you know how to use social media channels to start, maintain or grow your business? Which ones are the best? Do you know the City of Snellville offers resources to help you start and grow your business?

If not, you can benefit by attending the third quarter Snellville Entrepreneur Summit Tuesday, July 16 at Snellville City Hall. This free event begins at 6:30 p.m., following a half hour of networking and on-site registration.

Internet marketer Jonathan Wofford, who owns Freskos Media, will be the keynote speaker. Wofford will explain the critical importance of being able to utilize the social media in today's marketplace.

"Basically, I'll try to cram 12 hours of useful information into a one-hour speech," Wofford said only half jokingly.  "Social media is a wonderful place to go after your niche and reach your clients on their level."

Presented by the City of Snellville Office of Economic Development in partnership with the Snellville Entrepreneur Council, the Summit is a quarterly event focused on sharing resources the city has developed to support businesses at every stage of development. Those resources include the SnellvilleBusinessToolbox.com, peer advisory boards, and mentoring. The action oriented portion of the summit is offered as another opportunity for development.

Snellville's Economic Development Manager Eric Van Otteren says past events have been very well received. 

"We've asked attendees to complete performance evaluations and 100 percent said the Summit was so helpful they plan to attend future Summits. A large percentage said they walked away with something they would implement in their business the next day."
