Viewfinder: Star-Spangled Snellville

Snellville residents and business owners gathered on the Towne Green on Sunday, July 3 to celebrate America's birthday with good old-fashioned fun and fireworks.

Star-Spangled Snellville, a Fourth of July celebration on the city's Towne Green, was held on Sunday, July 3.

Sponsored by Anazao Salon, About Face Skin Care, The Gwinnett Citizen and Summit Chase Country Club, the event featured food, kids' activities, contests, live music and a fireworks display.

According to Joe Burnett, Executive Director of the Snellville Tourism and Trade Association, the event drew a crowd of more than 10,000 and was the largest Fourth of July celebration in Snellville history.
