Weekend Wrap Up: Dam Conversations, Remembering a Custodian, and Casino Night

Find out what you may have missed over the weekend.

Snellville resident Lorry Jordan sent in a letter to the editor concerning her experience in Summit Chase and the broken dam. The result was a heated exchange between residents (and non-residents) concerning who should repair the problem.

On Friday, Shiloh Elementary held a Walk-a-Thon in memory of their decades long custodian, Vickie Garmon. Afterwards, a ceremony was held in her honor.

A fundraiser was held for the Community Garden at Snellville on Saturday. Dozens of people turned out for a Casino Night. If you have pictures of the event to share, or any St. Paddy's day photos, share them on our 'St. Patrick's Day Spirit' story.
