Weekend Wrap-Up: Hannah Rinehart, Paul Ryan and Meteors

Welcome to a new week!  Snellville Patch featured a number of stories this weekend that got the community -- and the nation -- talking. Locally, the Rineharts' story took a couple of unexpected turns, while nationally, our attention turned toward celestial events and a potential presidential VP. 

On Friday, Snellville Patch reported that from fellow teachers.  However, as the situation unfolded, it turned out that , but local.  

As it stands now, Mark, a math teacher at South Gwinnett, has 30 days paid leave to be with his wife, Hannah, .  Up until Saturday, he thought he had 60 days.  This coming Thursday, Hannah's brother will speak during the Gwinnett County School Board meeting to request that they change the rules and allow teachers to donate their PTO.
