Accomplishments: An exceptional student athlete, Beta Club member and two-time finalist for the Gwinnett County regional and state science fairs, this straight-A student surmounts all expectations of learning in the high school classroom. Having received multiple academic and extracurricular honors, Jasper epitomizes the term whiz kid. Jasper is the award-winning piano player, scholarly athlete, multilingual tutor and woodwind virtuoso all rolled into one. His smarts and talents parallel that of a budding genius. He maintains a 4.0 GPA as well as a course-load of AP and gifted courses.
Key to Awesomeness: Jasper’s passion for his schoolwork equals his love and commitment to his family, friends and peers. He credits his parents, his mother from China and father from Taiwan, for his success. “I’m lucky to have a good support system of family and friends,” he said. “Success is important in high school, and more than anything you have to be consistent.” Jasper graduates high school next year and considers attending Duke University for a degree in the medical field.
