Accomplishments: Melissa recently finished up at Snellville Middle School for the school year, and she was among the school’s elite group of honor roll students. Melissa was honored by the principal for academic achievements as a straight A student. She was additionally received the perfect attendance award in which she was commended for her flawless school attendance. She has also wowed her teachers and peers by excelling all areas of the CRCT, including language arts, math, social studies and reading. She is well-rounded, both inside and outside the classroom, as she is fluent in both English and French. She likes arts and additionally enjoys ballet, jazz and hip-hop dancing.
Key to Awesomeness: Melissa states that her success in school is self-motivated, and that it stems from a desire to always do better. “I listen to my teachers, and do the best I can to stay ahead," she said. After receiving recognition from her school, Melissa is making certain that all of her hard work pays off. She aspires to become a pharmacist and is hoping to attend Emory University for her career endeavors.
