Extras Sought for AMC Television Show Shooting in Snellville
"Halt & Catch Fire" is looking for additional men and women for a scene Friday.
Film crews are looking for extras for a scene in a new AMC television show that's being filmed in Snellville on Friday (Jan. 10).
According to The Southern Casting Call, "Halt & Catch Fire" needs a couple of men and women who have "hair that can pass for 1983."
Interested parties should send a clear, recent photo and all contact information to hcfextras@gmail.com.
Set in the early 1980s, "Halt & Catch Fire" reveals the personal computer boom through the eyes of a young engineer and prodigy who takes on corporate competition, according to a news release from the city of Snellville. Snellville will double as a Texas town – a computer software hotbed known as the “Silicon Prairie.”
The show will star Lee Pace ("The Hobbit," "Lincoln"), Scoot McNairy ("Argo," "12 Years a Slave"), Kerry Bishe ("Argo," "Sex and the City") and Mackenzie Davis ("Smashed," "Breathe In," "That Awkward Moment").
