'Eyes of Freedom' Traveling Memorial Comes to Snellville

The art exhibit shares the story of the fallen Marines of Lima Company 3/25.

The city of Snellville, Snellville Veterans Memorial and Snellville Community Foundation will be hosting the Eyes of Freedom traveling art exhibit from Nov. 4-6 at the Snellville Police Department

The Eyes of Freedom traveling memorial shares the story of the fallen of Lima Company 3/25, one of the hardest hit units in Operation Iraqi Freedom. These 23 life-size portraits are a powerful military tribute honoring all those who answered the call to service in every branch of our armed forces.

Opening ceremonies will be held Monday (Nov. 4) at 10 a.m. with the exhibit open to the public from until 7 p.m. The exhibit will continue Tuesday and Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 7 pm. The Snellville Police Department is located at 2315 Wisteria Dr.
