Tuesday is Snellville Public Safety Night

Get ready for K9 demonstrations, kids activities and more centered around the protection of citizens.

The Snellville Police Department, the Snellville Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association and the city are inviting the community out next Tuesday (Sept. 24) for the annual Snellville Public Safety Night. 

Similar to National Night Out, which was last Tuesday (Aug. 6), Public Safety Night emphasizes the positive relationship between citizens and the police force. 

The free event will lots of activities for the entire family, including inflatables, fingerprinting, a treasure hunt and demonstrations on K9s, self-defense and traffic stops.
