Funds from the event will go toward building a permanent art gallery at Snellville City Hall.

The Snellville Arts Commission is hosting a wine tasting later this month to raise funds for a permanent art gallery at city hall.

The event will take place Friday, Sept. 20, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Niko's Wine Corner, according to a news release. Niko's is located at 2050 Scenic Hwy. in Snellville.

Tickets are $10 each or $15 per couple and include hors d'oeuvres. Tickets may be reserved in advance by emailing sfoster@snellvillearts.com, visiting Niko's Wine Corner or by contacting any member of the Snellville Arts Commission.

All proceeds will be used to purchase a painting for the Snellville City Hall permanent art gallery. The painting will be selected from one of the monthly exhibits that has been a part of the Art on the Wall at City Hall program.
