Snellville Celebrates 90th Birthday With Live Concert
The city celebrated the occasion again this month with jazz music and more cake.
The city of Snellville already celebrated its 90th birthday earlier this month at the Aug. 12 city council meeting, but there was one more event in store for the occasion.
This month's concert for Live on the Lawn also had a special portion dedicated to the birthday. Held on the city's Town Green across city hall, the event brought in hundreds of people to not only enjoy listening to the 17-piece Metro Jazz Club, but to eat some cake and sing "Happy Birthday."
