When Did People WHO Proclaim To Be Christians.....Quit Being Christian To Each Other?
Somewhere(and not over the rainbow)we forgot what a Christian is suppose to be! Christ is in the very first part of this word....take him out; and all you have left is "ian".
Don't think I am standing up on my "holier than thou" soapbox....because I have caught myself doing this.....extra, extra it is not ok.
What happens is; we start to except this as a normal.....a new normal and we start to except this behavior or worst; when we do this ourselves; we act as though we have done nothing wrong!
Jesus Christ on the Cross gave us many things and Grace was one of them, we take it, we except it, however we can't pass it on? He gave us forgiveness, but we can not or will not pass that on? I am sorry; but exactly who do we think we are? Really?
What if we the Church started practicing this; would...could we make a difference. Would others want what we have?
I was on a social media place the other day and I saw(you have too)folks who proclaim to be Christians, just ripping each other up.....yep buddy if I was an outsider I would be sign me up for that....that's what I want....NOT!
I am sorry if you find this offensive....but you know what; I want to be a Follower of Jesus Christ! I will stumble and fall...big time....I will get back up, I will admit I fell, ask you forgiveness, ask Jesus for forgiveness and move on! I am tired of Religion....I am walking towards that relationship with Jesus....and admitting when I am wrong....spending time in Prayer....who will join me?
