Another shooting was reported in unincorporated Snellville this week, and it's very close to the previous one.

Gwinnett County Police officers were at the scene at 4491 Raptor Place late Wednesday afternoon (Sept. 18) after a man called 911 to report that he was shot in the head, according to a news release from Cpl. Jake Smith.

This location is half a mile away from the scene of the quadruple shooting from Sunday evening (Sept. 15) that resulted in three homicides and one injured person. The two shootings are not related, Smith continued.

An ambulance responded to Wednesday's incident and transported him to a local hospital. The bullet grazed the side of his head, and his injury is considered non-life threatening, Smith told Patch.

The initial investigation leads detective to believe this shooting was the result of an escalating argument. The suspect is not in custody.
