The following is a message from Kelly McAloon, the executive director of Snellville Tourism and Trade.
Snellville Tourism and Trade Association has decided to cancel the 2nd Annual Around the World Visits Snellville event and Popcorn in the Park that was scheduled for today, Sept. 21, due to the rain and thunderstorms headed our way.
A lot of work goes into organizing our events and it is very disappointing that we have to cancel due to the weather. However, we always want to make sure the safety of our citizens come first.
The Around the World event will not be re-scheduled. We will start planning for the 3rd Annual Around the World Visits Snellville event that will be held in September of 2014 on the Snellville Towne Green. Please visit www.snellvillepride.com for more information on up coming events.
