'Almost, Maine' Comes to Stage

Snellville-based nonprofit will present "Almost, Maine" from May 11 to May 27 in its new location.

The new location is at Margins Charity Thrift and Variety Mall on Henry Clower Boulevard.

In addition to being in a new facility, New London Theatre will also be utilitzing its new directors program during the "Almost, Maine" performance. The theater will provide education and guidance to three up-and-coming arts leaders, who will work with a selection of scenes from the production.

Production Synopsis:

"On a cold, clear moonless night in the middle of winter, all is not quite what it seems in the remote, mythical town of Almost, Maine. As the northern lights hover in the star-filled sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in unexpected and often hilarious ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. But the bruises heal, and the hearts mend — almost." 

Showtimes:

8 p.m.: May 11-12, May 18-19, May 25-26

2:30 p.m.: May 13, May 20 and May 27

Shows are performed at New London Theatre's space inside Margins Charity Thrift and Variety Mall, 2338 Henry Clower Boulveard. (This is the New London Plaza site.)

Getting Tickets:

Tickets are $12 in advance or $15 on the day of the show. Children/students (3-19) and seniors (55 years old and older) are always $10. Tickets can be purchased online or at the theatre box office.
