Bargains Galore: Back By Popular Demand to Hold $1 Sale

After a year off to stock up, Back By Popular Demand Consignment is holding a $1 sale on Saturday that’s guaranteed to have fashionistas flocking to find bargains.

Shoppers will find an estimated 15,000 pieces of gently used clothing and accessories from top department store brands such as Ann Taylor, Chico’s, White House Black Market, Coach, Vince and Dooney & Bourke, reports Atlanta Bargain Hunter.

The sale will benefit Fighting For Dawn, a non-profit which helps animals live.

Organizers said you can show up early to get a spot in line, but no one gets into the sale until 9 a.m. There’s no set closing time; when everything is sold, it’s over. 

“If you've never been, it’s wild and crazy in a great way,” says the group’s Facebook page.

Rules to abide by at the sale:

• No children allowed
• Cash only sales
• No hoarding items -- this means you can't grab armfuls of stuff to try on. Hoarders will be escorted away by police.
• No coupons or other discounts will be accepted
• Wear comfy shoes and be prepared to walk a bit, parking is tight.

And as a bonus, there will be a small $5  and $10 tent containing high-end designer items.

Back By Popular Demand is at 4925 Lawrenceville Hwy. in Lilburn.
