Bites Nearby: Artisan Restaurant

Patch's restaurant pick of the week is a place with European and American cuisine influences.

Each week, Patch picks a restaurant either in town or nearby that is worth checking out. Here is this week's choice:

Artisan Restaurant

Located in the heart of Stone Mountain Village, Artisan is a restaurant that specializes in European and American cuisine. With the motto “a world of flavors the whole family can enjoy,” Artisan believes that healthy food should also be good. With its café style tables and chairs and glass display of confectionaries this is a spot that has a bit of style but still manages to be inviting. In addition to its aesthetic pleasures, Artisan serves an array of budget-friendly lunch and dinner items, with house specialties including Mediterranean Pita Pizza, Mango Salsa Tilapia over rice, Timpano Rotini and Chicken Cordon Bleu.

Lunch is served daily from 11 am - 3 pm and dinner is served from 5 pm-9 pm, but if you happen to find yourself with hunger pangs in between the hours of lunch and dinner just stop into Continental Coffee and Sweets downstairs, where there's a host of pastries and coffees.

The restaurant is currently without alcohol but expects to receive a liquor license in a week. Perhaps an assortment of Italian sodas or specialty iced drinks will hold you over in place of traditional spirits.
