Cabana Grill Sets Open Date for Snellville Debut
The first-ever location for the restaurant chain will debut in March.
Cabana Grill, a new Mexican restaurant coming to Snellville, plans to open March 31.
The 3,7000-square-foot stand-alone location at 1615 Scenic Hwy. will be the first-ever establishment for the entire restaurant chain, according to a news release. The business broke ground in the Lowe's parking lot in December.
Cabana Grill is a new concept created by San Antonio, Texas-based Taco Cabana, which has more than 170 company-owned and franchised restaurants in Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico, and has served Mexican cuisine for more than 35 years, the release continues.
Cabana Grill will be a fast-casual concept that offers limited table service and a drive-thru as well as an indoor/outdoor patio setting. The menu will have fresh ingredients, house-made salsas, hand-pressed tortillas made in front of customers and beans made onsite. Made-to-order items include steak and chicken fajitas grilled over an open flame, shredded pork carnitas and the signature Shrimp Tampico. A full bar with beers and margaritas for as low as $1.50 will be available to customers, too.
“Launching Cabana Grill in Snellville is the first step in sharing our love of handmade, great-tasting Mexican cuisine with the Southeast,” said Cabana Grill Chief Operating Officer Todd Coerver in the release. “In creating an authentic yet affordable dining experience, with the added convenience of a drive-thru, we will offer a unique and compelling twist on fast-casual Mexican.”
